As I wrote, Cézembre is ready to offer asylum to all citizens and accomodate a governement in exile. Taiwan should not remain the only island in such a case.

I also support bicameralism. The difference in the time frames of the 2 assemblies plus the impossibility to veto a government with the VoC are elements of stabilization of our political life, avoiding brisk changes of direction without deep analysis and voice given to more independent politicians. Senator seats by Province also bring the opportunity to know and respect our Provinces, and better include all local constraints in our Nation-wide decisions.

On fixed term elections, I don't think that the benefit of a more predictable calendar offset the negative consequences, mostly around a temporary Seneschal not elected and at the helm for too short a time to build something. The roles of Party Leader / Leader of the opposition and candidate Seneschal should also be separated in my opinion. I don't think that failed VoCs have occurred often in the past, and I think that in this case our Nation should return to the voting process.

I voted in favour of the suppression of the CRL to fluidify the legislative process but I know that the work on improving the quality of the legislation is crucial, and that this step should not be skipped.
As Mençei, you have been doing a great job at this, and your contribution has been decisive on many bills. As Tuischac'h I also tried to play my role in this process as a reviewer, trying to separate this role from my own feelings about the reviewed bills.
Should you not be in the position of continuing your action, I would gladly study with you the legislative modifications needed to allow committed and skilled citizens to contribute to this review step.

Initially I was not in favour of this agreement, but as Party Leader, I signed this one to reflect the decision  of our Party aiming at having more than 100 votes to nominate a TNC Seneschal, and later as Seneschal myself I felt committed to respect this signature.
This multipartisan committee was to me a way to escape the democratic process reflecting the votes of a majority. I never vetoed any amendment, and deeply regretted that the FreeDem did so on February 2024 : see https://wittenberg.talossa.com/index.php?msg=25136
Of course, I will never support such a black-box and undemocratic legislative process again.

Inside the Progressive Alliance we will never impose any vote on our MCs and Senators. The only interests which we will defend are these of all citizens -and the scope of the responsibilities for a Senator is Natio-wide in my opinion.
Prog MCs may vote differently on a case by case basis (we did in the past), and personally I will not feel bound to vote according to the other members of the Party – even if I think that we all share the same vision for our Kinggdom.
In case of a needed coalition, I will insist on continuing based on this principle.
