Hello. The spreadsheet still says "NO" in address on file column. Can you confirm you received my email with my address sent to  staff@talossa.com  ? Thanks.

It seems I was one of the "not on file" address information, so I have sent the email to staff@talossa.com with it. Hope to have my ID card in my hands soon.

I've been off work for a couple of months, but I think I'm on time for this post.

Barclamïu was the person who applied for my citizenship, something I'm very grateful for, and I would apply for his citizenship right now, because I believe in second chances.

On the other hand, Barclamïu, everything they've answered you above is correct. Maybe you're too young to understand it, but believe me, what they've told you makes perfect sense. Let a few weeks go by and focus on your life, which is the most important thing.
If you have problems with the internet, you can do many things, from setting time limits in your router for maximum connection per day, and your parents can help you control yourself.

Tell us how are you going in a few weeks, and I'll be happy to apply for your citizenship if no one else wants to. But first please, focus on your life. Talossa will be here when you get back.

Wittenberg / Re: [PRÜMĂ] Talossan ID Cards - free!
November 26, 2024, 12:14:42 AM
I passed my citizen exam on March and applyed for the ID card. On those days they sent them in batches of 5, and at that time there were 4 applications with mine, so teorically with one more applicant should be enough for printing that batch. Unfortunately I´m still waitting for the ID card here in Europe. Maybe one day...
Would be nice for my Christmas present.

All human wisdom can be summed up in two words: hope and wait.

Well, we have to wait. Now there are 4 petitions with mine, so one more else and done.

Quote from: Marcel Eðo Pairescu Tafial, UrGP on March 27, 2024, 03:39:04 PMPablo is the Spanish version of Paul, which is Pol in Talossan.
I couldn't find any info on the name Dapena, though it probably doesnt mean "pitiful".

In fact, the surname "dapena" it´s not spanish, it´s portuguese. It´s the portuguese version of "de la peña" (literaly translated "from the rock" or maybe "of the rock" ), that would be my first surname in spanish.

So, I don´t know how would you manage that.  At the moment we have Pol  ------  Lupulescu.

Quote from: Baron Alexandreu Davinescu on May 11, 2023, 10:07:14 AMIf you already passed the test and were just waiting to get a card, please just let me know so I can send you the application form again without needing to go through the test.

When you get time, please forward me the application as I took and passed the test last week, even before becoming a citizen.

Thank you!

Everything is written in catalán because there governs the "lefties", and they make laws forcing the businesses to do it, if they don't do it they receive a fine. But they are quite less than half the population who wants the independence there. It´s a business for the politicians. They spend lots of money indoctrinating in schools and the media, but their "reality" is a lie learned since very young. Millions of euros spent in stupid things when now days they have no water because of climate and because not doing things to prevent the situation. Politics....  not too much to say.

And in other way, catalán is a co-official language, and it´s normal they speak it because they learned it since born. Equal than Basque country where they speak basque. But if you talk spanish they will talk in spanish with you, even they will try to speak spanish between them in your presence so you understand the conversation. In my life I only had one problem with a woman there, but hey, stupid people is everywhere. Never had problems with the idiom the years I stayed there.

Quote from: Barclamïu da Miéletz on March 21, 2024, 04:13:54 AMWhat's the average temperature in Andalucía? I've survived 42°C in Croatia, so I'll survive Andalucía as well unless it's above 45°C.

Although the average temperature is usually between 32 and 40 degrees, there were days with a maximum of 46.6 degrees.
I have to say that I'm not a "sun and hot man", I can't stand so much hot temperatures. I was born here and I prefer fresh, even cold. I always say this: If you are cold you can put clothes on until you are warm. If you are hot, when you have taken off all your clothes and you are naked and you are still hot, what do you do to be fresh? Do you tear off your skin? Ha ha.  Winter is beautiful, rain is beautiful too because it makes the grass grow.
Hey, and one more thing: You would feel at home here, there are many of your compatriots living here because we have traditionally been a mining town, so many Polish from your mining area came years ago to work here and they stayed. So... Witamy w Asturias !  XD

Quote from: Barclamïu da Miéletz on March 20, 2024, 06:14:19 AMI wanna visit Andalucía, pictures look promising.

No, you don't want to. You don't know what you're saying. You will dye because of hot air. Being there is like breathing in Mars. Too much hot, too much sun. I live in the oposite side of the country, at the north-west. Here we have green meadows, cows, mountains and beaches where the water is cold, not hot like in a jacuzzi like in Andalucia.
Here we are more "cool".

Quote from: Barclamïu da Miéletz on March 15, 2024, 02:53:56 AMI'm actually serious. Life quality in Germany is way better. The food is just garbage. Other than that beautiful landscapes (especially in Bavaria where I live), beautiful cities, impressing castles (best example: Neuschwanstein Castle. The Disney castle bases on it! The castle is beautiful but it has a not-so-impressive history behind it) and nice people.

Having lived in Germany, I personally love the food. Neuschwanstein is a gorgeous castle and one of my favorite memories of life there. We lived in a small town called Wildflecken in Bavaria.

Even though we moved here when I was 3, at first I liked the food but now I just hate it.

I don't know how is their food, never been there, but how difficult is their language! Impossible to understand a single word and very hard to learn! And yes, the castles are great.

Quote from: Barclamïu da Miéletz on March 15, 2024, 02:47:15 AMAre you kidding? All your answers are great and understandable (to me).

Thanks man. The truth is that I had a fun time answering the questionnaire. Some questions made me laugh, I didn't expect them; for example the fight "jam versus jelly" and if I have a favorite avenger. Haha

Azul!

Since my application for citizenship I have not had much free time, I have been traveling for work and I have only been able to answer a couple of messages. Nowdays I'm returning to my "normality" at work and I have more free time, so I was able to answer the questionnaire so you can discover a little more about me.
There it goes:

Q1. Do you have a favourite sports team? Who and why?

I don't like sports very much, I only follow F1 and my favorite driver is Fernando Alonso, who lives in the same province as me.

Q2. What are your favourite hobbies during your free time?

Apart from the hours I spend reading and learning new things, my biggest hobby is riding my motorcycle.

Q3. Pixar or Marvel?

Both of them. Nowadays cartoon movies are no longer just for children, I laugh a lot at movies like Gru. And which man doesn't like action movies and superheroes?

Q4. If you had the opportunity to live in the capital city of any sovereign nation, other than Talossa, which would it be and why?

I wouldn't live in a capital city, and if I had to go I would choose a small one. I hate traffic jams, the lack of space to park freely without paying, and the difficulty of moving in general due to the saturation of people. Send me to a quiet place, please.

Q5. How do you cut your sandwiches? Diagonally, not at all, or another shape? Maybe you take off the crust?

Diagonally, in other way it's not a sandwich, it's bread with things inside.

Q6. Do you have a favourite podcast to recommend?

I only follow a couple of podcasts, mostly due to lack of free time. But I co-host a "humor and news and questions" podcast with a friend. The problem is that any recommendation I do will not be useful to you unless you understand Spanish.

Q7. Apple or Android?

Android, without a doubt. And at the same time anti-Apple. Forever.

Q8. What is Talossa's most attractive feature?  What brought you here?

The idea of belonging from afar to another country that I will probably never be able to visit. And it also has a parliamentary monarchy, like in my country.

Q9. Which one of the Rocky movies is the best?

Rocky I. There is a saying here, second parts were never good.

Q10. Skydiving, or deep-sea exploratory submarine?

Skydiving. Human beings have always desired the ability to fly.

Q11.  What is your favourite movie and why?

It's a Spanish movie called Airbag. Among other types, I like films about absurd humor, with comic gags one after another. This particular film is not understood outside the country because of the local type of humor.

Q12.  Do you have a favourite Avenger?

Yes. Do I have to say who? --> Iron Man.

Q13. What would be three books, articles, or other such materials that you might recommend to all of Talossa for reading?

I can't recommend anything to an entire country. If I say the Bible, maybe there are non-believers. If I say something related to electronics there will also be people who don't like it. That is why cultural diversity is what makes a country great, someones know about determined things and other people know about other things.

Q14.  Who/what is your favourite music artist/band/genre?

As a DJ during half my life and a lover of 90's electronic music, I would choose a German group called Scooter, still active today. And as an additional info, if I have to choose the best song of "remember 90's" it would be Sash! -Ecuador.

Q15. Are you a reader, a writer, a speaker, or a listener?

I am a reader and listener, because I like to learn new things.

Q16. What are your distinct and separate feelings on the colours of green, red, and pink?

Green makes me feel at home, remembering the green pastures of my province. Red upsets me, turns me on, and pink... Barbie?

Q17.  Do you have a favourite flavour of ice cream? If not, what is a favourite dessert?

In fact, I have two, because I always order the half-lemon half-nougat ice cream.

Q18.  How do you feel about jam versus jelly?

I don't like jelly. Always jam. Those breakfasts with toasts spread with jam and butter have no rival.

Q19. Do you play any video games in your free time? Which?

I usually play Minecraft while I stream. I like to build things. Although I also love games about driving, flying and shooting.

Q20.  If you could eat an apple right now, or a pear, which would you rather?

I don't like pears, so I would choose apple, although I insist on what I said in Q7, anti-Apple forever.

If any answer is not understood due to my English, I will be happy to clarify any question.
Greetings, Talossans.
