I am officially announcing my candidacy for Senator from Maricopa. I thank you for your votes!

Thank you for the question.

In general I believe that the Ministry of Justice has operated as prescribed under law. When opinions or decisions have been necessary they have been forthcoming. I have tried to be transparent to all requests. Some take longer to respond to due to research or checking with other members of government for their opinions. I have read every law and statute that is currently being administered and used for governance. I have also researched any laws or regulations that can be updated or eliminated due to being unnecessary, redundant, or obsolete. I welcome any questions regarding specific laws or statutes.

Thank you for your interest in keeping this government accountable. It is only when citizens are involved that government can operate efficiently and transparently.

My best regards!

Good afternoon. I don't always see the messages or terps sent to me. I think the browser I use isn't refreshing properly. I apologize for my oversight and I will endeavor to follow closer. As you know most of us also have other responsibilities and those sometimes come first.

As for this question. I've explained on multiple occasions that I am reviewing legal precedents and laws to seek areas of reform. As of yet there has been little of note that I see needs to address or redress. If the citizens have specific issues to address please make them known and I can take a closer look.

My primary role is to advise the government on legal issues and that is something I endeavor to do. This back and forth is unnecessary and in practical terms an attempt for specific people to remain relevant.

As always I am ready to provide guidance to all citizens.

I am in support of this bill as it stands.

Quote from: Miestră Schivă, UrN-GC on August 24, 2025, 05:57:28 PMCan I have a call from @the Attorney General whether I have to abide by a now-repealed law because the process began under the old law? I never used that power before it was repealed, but I'm tempted to use it now just so we can establish this legal principle. Of course, I'll change my mind and grant certification if the prospective asks me to.

I'd also like input from His Maj @King Txec about whether he thinks there should be more "objective standards" for new prospectives apart from "they posted once and two citizens want them in". Because I have been subject to a furious torrent of invective by the opposition for thinking that any quality control on immigration is appropriate.

Unfortunately the timing of the original petition being submitted prior to a change in law means it will need to be reviewed under existing law at the time of the petition.

I look forward to your monthly asking of the same question.

My commitment to review both the Organic and Statutory Laws of the Kingdom remains unchanged. That review, however, is not meant to be carried out in isolation. By its nature, it requires the insight and participation of citizens and members of government, since the law belongs to the whole nation and not merely to the Attorney General's office.

On several occasions I have asked you directly if you had any specific concerns or points you would like me to examine as part of this process. To date I have received no reply to those questions. Repeating the same charge once a month, without offering substance or feedback, does not advance the review or contribute to the constructive dialogue that our community depends upon.

I acknowledge that I am not always able to respond instantly, as I balance these duties with other obligations and pressing needs. Nonetheless, when input is offered in good faith, I do make time to consider it carefully and address it fully.

If you do have concerns about particular laws or their application, I invite you again to set them out plainly. I will give them my full attention, as is my duty. But absent such contributions, I must continue my review with the material and responses that are actually provided.

As for immigration, I have discussed previously the idea of a two-tier structure for new immigrants.

Newly applied immigrants should be granted temporary residency with a goal of finding areas of participation or involvement. This would ensure potential new citizens are active and not just joining out of curiosity or other reasons. Once the temporary residences reach either 6 months or completes a citizenship test/review they are granted full citizenship.

I think this will help us get new active citizens rather than someone ti prip up the numbers.

Thanks,

I previously asked uf there were any areas of concern you wanted reviewed. If you have any such points of inquiry I look forward to your response.

The changes seem appropriate and has my support. Thanks once again for all the hard work!

Happy Birthday to my royal sister-in-law!

Is the purpose solely to manage activity by citizens and non-citizens or is it related to managing something growing out of control?

Good morning! This may be misplaced but my interest in joining this new party is high and I am curious about founding membership. I whole heartedly support a new merged party with united goals and platforms.

Thank you, Sir Luc, for what you do.

Quote from: King Txec on July 18, 2025, 12:37:33 PMWe have an excellent German restaurant near us called Old World Market. The food is authentic and they even have a shop where you can buy German food products. The Queen and I go there as often as we can.

What areas in Germany did you live in?

-Txec R
Where is that? Is that in Calimesa?

Quote from: Tric'hard Lenxheir on July 18, 2025, 09:00:43 AMI lived in Germany a couple of times as a kid, I just wish I could find someplace that serves real schnitzel. I ordered it once at the "German" restaurant at Disney in Florida and they brought me sauerkraut and sausage and insisted it was schnitzel

Those two things have nothing in common! There was a place in Anaheim near Disneyland called Jägerhouse that had fairly authentic food. There is a place in the next city from mine that serves Bavarian find that I like.

Quote from: King Txec on July 18, 2025, 08:04:31 AMI doubt that nearly 40 years later, the schnitzel stand is still there, but man would I love to eat there again.

One could always dream!

King Txec and myself were born in Frankfurt (West Germany) and had dual-citizenship until we were 18 I believe. I love Germany and its people. We were last in a village called Wildflëcken which at the time was only a few kilometers from the East German border. At the end of our street (straße) was a little food stand we called the "schnitzel stand". They served an amazing schnitzel sandwich on fresh brötchen and paprika-seasoned pomme frittes (french fries).
Mein Gotte in Himmel! I'd gladly endure a 12 hour flight to eat there again!

Quote from: Breneir Tzaracomprada on July 15, 2025, 08:21:54 PMI applaud this call, Pol. I need to say I really like your new avatar! I have been urging people to show their faces here to humanize one another beyond the words we see so it is nice to see another face here. I need to give more thought to create an extended answer to your call.
Fair enough. I look forward to a better working relationship for an extraordinary cause. This royal commission should be nonpartisan. As trusted leaders we can set an example for future posterity.

Now this is actual discussion of merit and looking at solutions rather than assign blame. There is enough blame to go around and it isnt helpful or even necessary to dwell upon past mistakes. Rather those errors should be used to point toward a solution. Taking a holistic view is required and something those here are desirous of.

I love Talossa and what it stands for. It allows me the freedom to express myself and be my true self without consequence or undesired effects elsewhere. I am in reality a person of deep conviction and thought and not impulsive in action. Making change is difficult and requires strength of character that is sadly lacking in many people of this age. Critical thinking is no longer a desired skill but an overlooked and dated concept. Most would rather move with the flow, staying inside their own echo chambers. We can be, and should be, different.

Nobody here is a fool. The rhetoric can get quite heated but at the end of the day we all want the same thing. We all want to see Talossa thrive! We all want to see Talossa shine! We are Talossan's!

We are Talossan's!

I make a call to all of us to step out of our typical corners, join hands, put aside needless animosity, and be the ideal we want. To be the CHANGE we want. If I offended anybody let me be the first to apologize. @Baron Alexandreu Davinescu, @Breneir Tzaracomprada, @Miestră Schivă, UrN-GC, @King Txec.  I want to link arms with all of you and make this Talossan ideal a Talossan reality!
