I am wondering if it would be acceptable, in the spirit of transnational cooperation and friendship, for me to submit a recipe on behalf of the Republic of Slaterya? (I am currently Minister of Arts and Culture, and as such have some authority in matters of cuisine.)

There are currently three people involved; myself, Minister of State Neten Vran, and Minister of Arms Charlez Untinton III. Our Founding Charter was signed on March 21 of this year, but I would say that the idea had been coalescing for a month or two beforehand.

My name is Varon Eglan. I currently serve as the Acting Premier of the Republic of Slaterya (in our language "Slaterä"), as well as Minister of Arts and Culture.
An interesting fact about our little Republic is that, in our independence movement, we were actually inspired by your great Kingdom of Talossa. Therefore, I thought it would be fun to introduce our nation by comparing it to said Kingdom.

Much like Talossa,
-Slaterya has both citizens that live within our territory in Simsbury, CT, and without.
-Slaterya has a democratically elected legislative body, the Parliament.
-We have our own national language, Slatterine, created by me.
-We allow our citizens to create and register coats of arms.
-Slaterya has an official constitution, the Founding Charter.

Unlike Talossa,
-We have no king or leader; the Premier is responsible only for acting as head diplomat and for keeping order in Parliament.
-We currently are not divided into provinces or any other subdivisions, but we may annex a new area when some of our citizens go off to college.
-A (very basic) language test is required for new citizens, and laws are generally written in English and Slatterine.

Here in Slaterya, we are very interested in creating culture and national pride. We hope to learn from Talossa in this way. We also hope that citizens of both nations will become curious about the other, thus building a relationship between the two.
