I'd like to vote Contra.

Allegiance to the government is definitely not necessary, but allegiance to the King in a Kingdom is sine qua non, unless the same is indirectly assured indirectly by the present set of wordings.

However, the ermine chief is similar to that of an escutcheon once carried by a former citizen, Agoschtin Cüpeleir.

L'Óspileu/The Chat Room / national flag

Why is @Mic'haglh Autófil, O.Be tainting the national flag with a sable column?

I can have metal/ alloy lapel pins printed/ engraved here for 0.50-2.50 USD depending upon size and quality.
a full medal with engraving and ribbon would coust from 5-10 USD each. We had a medal manufactured for our Lodge at a cost of around 7USD*70 units (approx 500USD), but the real cost would be of mailing them out.

Since our King uses Ermine, it's better to keep it out.

But if you want on black, we could have ermines (that's black base with white objects) sometimes also cale contra-ermine, or pean (that's black base with golden objects)

@Mximo Malt, I am not in favour of starting with a Purpure. Please think of any other hue that appeals to you.

Historical Association with "Stain" or Dishonor
Sign of Improper Usage: For a long time, purple was shunned because it was sometimes thought to represent dishonor on the part of the bearer.
"Stain" Tincture: In some, though not all, heraldic traditions, purple was considered a "stain" or a non-standard color (like murrey or sanguine), rather than a proper, honorable tincture.

Practical Difficulties in the Middle Ages
Fading and Confusion: Historically, the dyes used for purple were difficult to produce and often faded significantly. When a purple charge faded on a shield, it could be mistaken for other colors, particularly blue (azure) or black (sable), which violated the principle of clear, instant identification in battle.
Original Hue Confusion: Early, dark, reddish-purple dyes often appeared closer to brown or dark red, leading to inconsistencies in how the color was perceived or represented.

However, Purple generally symbolizes royalty, sovereignty, or justice, this same meaning is why it was rarely used by anyone below the rank of a monarch.

I'd take on this project, but I must caution the prospective armiger that Purpure (Purple) is a shade that is hardly allotted in Talossa.

Thank you @Sir Lüc for opening the thread in my absence

Looks fine by me too.

In fact, I'd like to co-sponsor the Bill, if possible.

Further, in the future I'd like to moot a bill wherein former Rulers are automatically granted a Dukedom.  And that includes the current King when he loses his crown.

El Senäts/The Senate / Re: Mencei for the 62nd Cosa
December 25, 2025, 12:05:54 AM
Quote from: þerxh Sant-Enogat on December 23, 2025, 04:58:24 PMBenArd is therefore declared elected as our Mençei for this 62nd Cosā!
Congratulations @Béneditsch Ardpresteir !

I thank you and the rest of the Senate from the bottom of my heart!
In the past, I nearly won the seat of the Mençei, and declared as such, but then the results changed because the voting had been closed a day before deadlines.
