I threw together a quick Merrill mockup.  Not sure how I feel about it, still.  It's kind of cool that it's asymmetrical, I guess.

-NRH

I know this is a starting point but I actually quite like the asymmetrical feature. That extra space makes for some nice design possibilities on the right.

I'm wondering if it may be possible to utilize some other building from the Milwaukee skyline. Preferably something from Talossan territory; the Allen-Bradley Clock Tower is a longtime MKE landmark, but is south of the river.

A few that could qualify:

Milwaukee City Hall -- it may not be the seat of our government, but it's the seat of a government (and is vaguely Big-Ben-esque, alluding to the current usage of the Parliamentary portcullis)

North Point Water Tower -- a historic landmark that happens to straddle the boundary between Vuode and Maritiimi-Maxhestic, locally important to the extent that it is mentioned in the Lex clause detailing the boundaries of Dun Cestour Canton.

Merrill and Greene Halls are the obvious choices, but given the oddity of their design I wanted to give us some alternatives.

- TLF

This is just me but I am interested in seeing some proposals for Merrill and Greene Halls. Their design oddity seems rather fitting for Talossan character to be honest. And they are our legislative sites by tradition.

Thanks Minister Autofil, I was just wondering if La C'hronică was coming out since I thought it was published now at the beginning of the month.

Be that as it may, should my party declare an end to the formal boycott, I'm still going to vote against about 90% of TNC bills - i.e. those which are mean-spirited, ill-thought out, or which I'm just opposed to on principle. I'm sure you're not going to argue that I don't have the right to vote against whatever doesn't appear to me to be a good idea?

Absolutely not, but making it "formal" is just wrong. It reminds me too much of how the U.S. government works. It's our way or no way at all, screw the other side, do everything one can to make them look bad and steal what you don't come up with yourself. I've seen too much of that living in the United States, it is honestly one of the things that drew me to the idea of joining a micronation, and sadly it is now one of the things making me think I may have been wasting my time because it appears to be the exact same pettiness here.

Tric'hard, you are not wasting your time and I will say your contributions have been noticable and welcome. Let's get your first bill passed and start work on the next one.

WHEREAS it has been more than a fortnight since @Bråneu Excelsio first posted on Wittenberg, following his introduction to the citizens of the Kingdom by officers of the Immigration Ministry, and

WHEREAS he has, in that time, demonstrated an active, genuine, and continuing interest in Talossan life, culture, and language, and

WHEREAS he desires citizenship in the Kingdom of Talossa, and

WHEREAS by all indications it appears that he would be a loyal and dedicated citizen, and a credit to this nation if he obtains the grant of citizenship he requests, and

WHEREAS he's rooting for the wrong soccer team, Tigres, but we can make him see the light with the correct one, Rayados,

THEREFORE I, Danihel Txechescu, a citizen in good standing of the Province of Maricopa and of the Kingdom of Talossa, do by the present petition the Secretary of State @Dr. Txec Róibeard dal Nordselvă, Esq., O.SPM, SMM to issue a grant of citizenship to Bråneu Excelsio, as specified by law.

You should be receiving an oath soon but, at the risk of being early, I wanted to welcome you to official Talossanity!

Mr. Túischac'h:

This terpelaziun is for the Attorney-General. Please explain the criteria which will guide the ministry's work to "simplify Talossan statute law as much as possible, repealing obsolete provisions" and provide a progress report including specific details on any present achievements on this component of your coalition agreement.

Thank you.

Tric'hard with respect to the Senses of the Ziu I am hopeful they will be passed in the first clark after the next election since they are being blocked by the FDT and the PdR during this Cosa. I am gratified that the FDT found exceptions in their blockade so that your first bill might be passed.

I'm informed by my Deputy that "our first batch is actually at the printer now, so technically that number is currently 0. I anticipate them being done by Tuesday, though."

I must say, just while we're on the topic, that I'm disappointed that neither of the TNC leaders have done the Civics Test.

Understood, I will follow up on the number that have been sent out in next month's terpelaziun.

I wonder if a design using an artistic outline of our parliament building might be suitable.

Glad you asked. The total number of successful applicants is 11. The ID card mailout process is delegated to Deputy MinSTUFF s:reu Autofíl, so I'd like him to give an update.

Thanks. 11 successful applicants. S:reu Autofil, how many have been shipped?

Just made the next monthly donation to the Kingdom's Treasury as a part of the Solidarity Fund. I want to continue to issue the call for those of you who can to jump on the bandwagon.

Just bumping this ahead of the next monthly donation in case anyone is interested in joining.

Making the fifth monthly donation this week. Bumping for those interesting in joining.

The finding is on the basis that for the past several governments, the success rate for filing purely bureaucratic positions has been approximately 0%.

That is not what I asked though. I asked what you have done. And I am still waiting for that answer.
S:reu Túischac'h,

The honorable member does not seem to realize that his follow-up was a yes-or-no question, which I answered in the negative.

Alright, for the record, I'll take that as no efforts have been made to secure the additional personnel you stated were needed to fully revamp the TalossAssistant program.

Since S:reu Lenxheir is not a member of the Talossan National Congress, this submission is not included in the FreeDem legislative boycott.

MC Lenxheir is not an independent member of the Cosa. He is proposing this bill in his capacity as a holder of a Talossan National Congress seat in parliament. I am pleased to see that the boycott is either over or has become porous.
MC Lenxheir, unless I am hear from him to the contrary, is an independent who happens to be holding TNC seats.

@Tric'hard Lenxheir   Can you help clear this misunderstanding?

This may be a politically expedient distinction but it does not have any basis in law.
