Firstly, the member opposite seems to have gone against their own rules of one terp per minister per month, so this feels like harassment territory.

With BHAID, whatever plans we may or may be making, it is too early to release information on that. Also I would disagree that the individual doing as the opposite member said is "popular" and more like a weed in Talossan politics that is self serving and seems to only care about the "prestige" of setting up the organisation but doesn't truly care about the work, as with a charitable organisation, you don't get involved or use it to make anyone look good, but for the people or is there to help, so making a big deal out of something by constantly framing it as "something I created" is something that member of the public mentioned by the member opposite seems gross as cheap as it is detracting from the work BHAID does and turning it into a personal trophy to show off.

I will state again, Other than previously announced projects, I will not be announcing anything further until we have something to announce as per my previous answers to this member, we WILL NOT announce anything until deals have been reached, it isn't as if the foreign ministry has been silent, and we have made announcements on things as they have been needed. So what you are asking about falls under "other than previously announced projects"

What a pity with the failure of the Carcosa initiative. I recall that you were determined to move forward with it until the communications breakdown. Now that that is resolved what other activities is the Ministry currently engaged in?

We, in good faith entered into talks with Carcosa which at first went well, we made progress, discussed what we might want to work towards together and then came up with a formal treaty whilst looking into further cooperation in the future.

However as soon as we had agreed to the treaty, and presented it. We barely heard from them. We tried to encourage them to answer questions in the landing pier, and even sent ultimatums to reply by the end of July, to which we got silence. As if they had lost interest in working with us.

Part of my hesitance to put the treaty to a vote at first, was to give Carcosa more time to engage with us privately and publicly, but they did not do so, and shared some of the skepticism of members opposite, in their lack of communication.

Whilst I do believe that this was good practice for myself and Talossa in setting some standards (which will be reviewed and formalised soon) in engagement of diplomatic practices, and what we as a nation can gate too, I do also believe and stand by my previous statements, on how, the passing of the treaty would have helped with making a robust foreign ministry, I do also believe, that in hindsight, Carcosa was not the best choice.

So for the remainder of this term, and I also recommended at least 3 further Cosa terms, depending on actions of successive governments, as foreign minister, and as said in messages to Carcosa, we will be stoping diplomatic efforts and discussions with Carcosa for at least the remainder of this Ziu and with a recommendation to future foreign ministers should I not be in post, of a further 3 Ziu's, shall be suspended.

I did not make this decision or recommendation lightly, but I believe it is the best course of action we can make.

I still plan to look for other possible diplomatic partners, but I will only do so after working internally on setting up guidelines, and possibly new legislation (depending on internal discussions) on practices of diplomatic engagement.

We hope to see successful diplomatic relations with other nations in the future and we regret things didn't work out with Carcosa.

Ok, this is jumping the gun by a fair margin, and trying to force the ministry down a path of your own making and not those in the ministry itself, We are currently discussing internally how to proceed with this, so this is unhelpful, and unwarranted, also it is aiming to undermine the authority of the BHAID chief and the foreign ministry by usurping its autonomy and authority. This is less like "a sense of the Ziu" and more "Instructions to the foreign minister" in all but name, and just using round about political speech, because your bitter about not being involved in planning.

Also let's be clear your starting this in AUGUST when it isn't until 1st OCTOBER that the anniversary is, if you had been doing this in September with no sign of planning then fine, but this is waaay too early, and reads as an attempt to hijack the process as an outsider

Honestly I don't mind the "send back" concept, however I do think that after this stage, the Senate should be able to amend the legislation as part of its role as a reviewing chamber before sending the legislation back to the Cosa. Or even just sending the reasons (both requiring a majority of senators to agree on what is send to the Cosa) it has been rejected. Although this is a more complicated system, but might be a sort of middle ground solution. And help with making the senate feeling more useful than it realistically is at the moment.

By the grace of His Majesty the King, as a donation to the Kingdom, has registered to attend MicroCon27 (link: https://us.microcon27.com) on behalf of The Kingdom of Talossa, after seeking advice and approval from the Foreign Ministry.

We believe this will be a great platform to promote Talossa, to international partners and help to seek foreign relationships, after too long of being an insular nation.

We thank His Majesty the King for being willing to pay and attend this on our behalf, his work and dedication to our nation is appreciated and won't be forgotten. And we wish him he'll as he plans to attend this, and shall work with him in the foreign ministry as he does so.

In accordance with the following laws

"2.6.6 The Bureau for Humanitarian Aid and International Development (The Bureau) shall serve as the hub for the Kingdom of Talossa's support for disaster and poverty relief and other forms of humanitarian assistance, emergency response and the promotion of efforts towards socioeconomic development. [c 6][286]
2.6.6.1 The Bureau shall operate under the auspices of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The Bureau shall be administered by an Administrator to be appointed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs."

I shall, appoint myself as the administrator of BHAID and take on its role and duties in accordance to law.

Whilst I look into the role and possible futures for BHAID I shall suspend all outgoing as administrator of BHAID until further notice.

With a heavy heart, but firm in my belief, I will vote in favour of this merger.

We as a party have been running on fumes for too long, so I hope that this will help energise the people in our party should this vote be successful, in the new party being formed.

I hope that our fellow members vote in davie if this as if we choose to reject this, as much as it pains be to say, I think the party might collapse sooner than later. And although I will miss the free dems. Given our current state, it will be better to end this party now as is, and merge as a new party like a phoenix from ashes. Stronger than before.

The free dems have been a massive part of my Talossan identity and have made a lot of good Talossan freinds here. But sometimes changes need to be made, I will miss the days of the Freedems, but as long as we vote together to accept the merger, the people and the heart of the party will live on. Which is more important than clinging to a party that is slowly decaying.

We have accomplished a lot as a party, and our most recent major success was the removal of the previous monarch that was long overdue. We have a great legislative and governmental record, and have done our best to run Talossa with care and respect Talossa deserves. Even though we may be losing the party as it currently is should this pass, we will still be together with a clearer direction than we are currently.

So yes for all the reasons stated and more. I once again reaffirm my vote is to approve of this merger. And I hope our fellow party members do so as well.
