Is it just a genuine oversight in your opinion? If that's the case, I don't see any reason why it can't be corrected.

Azul! We'd be happy to help you get settled in Talossa. Tell us, what about Talossa are you interested in? What drew you in in the first place? There's the language of course, if you're interested in that. There's also policy making.

If you want, you can start by learning more about our history and culture. That way everything won't seem so foreign when you delve in.

I have serious ethical concerns about the turn this particular election is taking. Putting aside the politics for a moment, candidates, as a principle, should NEVER hold any office that has any power to even remotely influence the outcome of the election—let alone be allowed to vote twice and decide the entire outcome with it.

In this particular instance, I have no doubt, Ian, that you think yourself to be the most qualified and natural candidate for the MM senate seat. I respect that as I respect your first vote. But to vote for yourself again and win all because of some legalese technicality is unethical and, frankly, undemocratic in my view. I urge you to ABSTAIN from voting again until we have exhausted all other alternatives.

(For those of you who are aware, this might give you some terrible flashbacks of the 2018 gubernatorial election in Georgia where Brian Kemp had unfettered oversight as then-current Secretary of State over his own election. This is too close for comfort and to stand on technicality despite the obvious moral questions is too great to just slide by. We have to resolve this issue systematically, not just in this instance)

We need a new Talossan history syllabus for all new citizens to learn.
Yes, I couldn't agree more! Even just a condensed version would go a long way. We should use our official wiki for more comprehensive summaries, but I recommend creating a cheat sheet of sorts of all important dates and information that we can give to new applicants and citizens.

This thread is a bit cold but I just want to ask if there's been an answer to this question. I still personally use his 2nd edition grammar as my reference although, as mentioned, the spelling is outdated.

Are there anymore updates we'd like to see besides spelling? Are there proposed change to the grammar as well?

Azul! I'm interested in joining the committee. I've spent the past several years studying linguistics at university and I hope I can make use of it here. I hope you're accepting new members!
