Messages - Sir Txec dal Nordselvă, UrB

#1126
I wish I'd had this graphic to add to today's tweet celebrating Penguin Awareness day! Nevertheless, I added it as a reply to today's celebratory tweet!
#1127
The two posts are also on our Facebook page. I've not set up Instagram yet, but I will. We also have something called TrustPilot but I have no idea what that is really.
#1128
I now have access to our social accounts. Ideas on posts?

I may not remember correctly, but I think I said I'd help out with the Twitter, but I'm not a member of the government so I don't think me just doing it myself alone would be appropriate.

56RZ9 Për
56RZ10 Për

Attn, SoS: 56RZ10 stipulates Lex. H.21 is to be deleted.

When I look at http://wiki.talossa.com/Law:El_Lexhatx#H._Legislation I cannot find section 21.

However, I see that section in your revision from 9 November 2021:
http://wiki.talossa.com/index.php?title=Law:El_Lexhatx&oldid=28212#H._Legislation

There is an element to this I am missing, however.  Thanks for all you do, as always.

GV

This is due to the fact that several sections have been recently altered and H had to be renumbered, per 56RZ4. The section 21 referenced is now section 17. If RZ10 passes I'll need to once more renumber the entire portion of El Lex.

Your vote also helped point out that other areas of El lex H were misnumbered. I've fixed that. This section gets a lot of legislation so it's hard to keep it tidy.

El Viestül/The Lobby / 5th Clark of the 56th Cosa
January 01, 2022, 11:37:48 AM
The January 2022 Clark is now here.

www.talossa.ca/files/clark.php?cosa=56&clark=5

Or here: www.talossa.ca/files/print_clark.php (this is the printer friendly version)

In PDF Form (which was made from the print_clark.php page):

www.talossa.ca/files/clarks/January2022Clark.pdf

or can vote online here: www.talossa.ca/files/clark_vote.php

Or in this thread, until the 21st of the month, at 19h30 TST.

Senators are allowed to create a single thread in the Senate chamber to post all of the Senate Votes that are not cast in this thread. Any votes not posted either using the form above, the current thread or the Senate thread might be ignored and void. Please do not vote by email or private messages.

When you vote, do not indicate any conditions which may make it sound like this vote isn't final: you can always change your vote later.

Please do not vote by email: We've had problems with email votes being caught in the spam filter.

All nominated Cosa Members and Senators have been emailed.

It's not the first time that a senator has failed to vote...

everyone has their reasons, and I refuse to answer the same, especially to you. Moreover in an open forum filled with certain vile characters, I'd rather not discuss my reasons (/problems).

Everyone has their own sets. In your role as the SoS, you also failed to send the reminder mail (that you have made a 'norm' by sending practically each and every time). Maybe that was for some reason, or maybe intentional. Who cares? Not me.

You also point fingers at the Senator for not voting, but fail to point fingers at your friend in the Cosa from the same party, for failing to vote there. You may say that he's not representing the province, but I am. However, apart from sending a candidate to the Senate the Maricopans, in general, are probably not interested in day to day political activities.

Long back I had mooted the concept of truly representing the mood of the province in the Senate based on the votes polled in the cabana, but no one seemed interested. So, it's left to me as to how I vote - Pro/Con/Aus... and if am not present it's still an Aus with a strike on my tenure. So how does it affect you?

If you were genuinely concerned, you could have sent a DM here or on FB Messenger on which we are connected too. But no, you just wanted to make it murkier.

Um...ok. Thanks.

The more I think about your response the more irritated I get. Here we have a constituent asking their elected senator about his voting record and the senator makes it more about the constituent than his own voting record. Nice deflection, putting the blame on me as Secretary of State for not remembering to send out the courtesy email I normally do at the end of the Clark. Maybe I had things going on in my real life also.

As for "my friend" in the Cosa, that "friend" is not my elected senator. You are. I also find it hilarious that you decided to just do your own thing because you didn't get a reply to some messages in Wittenberg.

Let's be real here, being a senator is not that hard of a job. You vote once a month. Just do the bare minimum.

The database can accommodate more than 200 seats. I agree that one seat per new citizen is still a good way to get involved.

El Viestül/The Lobby / Call for Bills - 5th Clark
December 23, 2021, 10:56:25 AM
It is my pleasure to open call for bills of the January 2022 Clark.

Eventually, the clark can be viewed in real time here:

www.talossa.ca/files/cosa_vote_result.php?cosa=56&clark=5 (for the votes)

and here:

www.talossa.ca/files/clark.php?cosa=56&clark=5 (for the bills )

It is NOT too late to submit bills, of course, as you have OFFICIALLY until the morning of the 31st of this month, provided your bills have been in the Hopper before end of business day the 15th, of course. I will make the Clark on January 1st's morning and bills submitted up to a few hours before that will probably also be taken.

PLEASE note that in order to support a bill, you need to:

1 ) Be a Senator, the Secretary of State or the King
or
2 ) Have been nominated as a Cosa Member for the upcoming Clark BEFORE the 15th,

To vote on the Clark, you will once again have 2 options:

1 ) You will be able to vote in the Clark thread (which will be created later on the 1st of January), as usual. I will enter your votes in the DB.

2 ) You will be able to vote directly in the database, using your usernumber and DB password (which you can retrieve at: www.talossa.ca/files/login.php using the PSC of the election) or by login via Facebook (which retrieve manual activation on my part).
