Seeing as we now have a cabana, our first order of business is, as always, to elect a premier. Nominations are now open for shall we say one week?

I nominate myself as premier of Maricopa.

In order to prevent further confusion, my official retirement from the CpI shall be midnight, August 8, 2020 TST. I wish to remain in emeritus status at that time and of course retain my rights as a member of the Royal Talossan Bar.

What is the progress on this?  I'm concerned as well, and until the result is certified, I cannot scribe the OrgLaw amendments.

The EC is now beginning the process of validating the votes.

Someone edited the Wiki that I've already retired. I have not taken up my new office of Secretary of State and so my retirement is not yet effective. This needs to be fixed please.

Nope I'm not outraged at all. I'm merely pointing out an observation based on lots of posts made by yourself to which I've not responded or gotten angry at or anything. I don't expect anything better from you really and whether your intent was partisan or "simply pointing things out" I could care less about you or your veiled attempts at smarminess.

As the incoming SoS, I agree that re-federalizing Senäts elections would be prudent if only to avoid keeping up to date with provincial laws regarding this.

All of these issues is precisely why I wrote the amendment that enlarged the CpI to five justices so that there was never a time when we could have less than a 3-justice panel for appeals and for setting precedent.

It's that time again and I figure no one will mind if I do it so let's get the party started.

Azul,

After careful consideration and upon consultation with the government, I have decided to retire from the Uppermost Cort as I plan on assuming another public office that is in conflict with my current role.

I have loved my years on the bench and while I am sad to be leaving the Cort, I look forward to the next adventure.

My retirement is effective upon taking up my new office and said office will be announced in due time.

Thank you and I wish the best to my soon to be former colleagues on the UC.
