Effective immediately, I am pleased to announce the appointment of our Most. Hon. Seneschal Breneir Trazaracomprada as the new administrator of the Bureau of Humanitarian Aid and International Development (BHAID) of the Kingdom of Talossa. His dedication to helping those in need make him the ideal candidate for this position. I have full confidence that he will effectively lead and manage the BHAID, enhancing Talossa's efforts towards promoting socioeconomic development and humanitarian assistance whenever possible.

What if I want to say "Fellow fiováns" or "Hello, fiován community!"?

I think my question is about using Fiován as an adjective instead of as a demonym.

Esteemed members of the General Assembly (that means everyone) of the Free Province of Fiôvâ (that's us):

According to the Constitution of our Province, elections for a three-person Praisidïeu (standing committee of the General Assembly) will be held at the same time as every Cosa election. This election will run from Januarty 15 to February 1, 2023 (in just over a month).

Under the Fiôván Elections and Referendums Law (ERL), Title I Section 3, as Secretary of State I am required to submit to the General Assembly the rules by which I will carry out this election.

Therefore, I hereby declare that the rules for the upcoming election of the Praisidïeu will be as follows:

1. Nominations for the Praisidïeu (Title III Sections 1-2) will open on January 1, 2023 and will close 1 week after that, on January 8.
Under Title III Section 2.1, such a nomination includes the candidate's full name; their party affiliation (if any); and a statement, no longer than fifty words, of the candidate's aims and objectives (optional).
Please make these nominations in this thread, or by personal communication with myself.
2. The period between close of nominations and start of voting (Title III Section 4) will therefore be one week, as determined by the Chancery's timetable for the national elections.
3. the actual process of voting and the production of the "ballot paper" (Title II Section 2) will be delegated to the National Chancery, whom I have asked to use the same voting mechanism as used for Senäts elections. This will allow "write-in" candidates (Title III, Section 5.3.1): the voters may give any citizen, not just the officially nominated candidates, a preference.
4. Once the Chancery reports all the votes, I will count them using the OpaVote website using "ERS97 STV" rules. I certify that this will provide a result as close as makes no difference to that set out in our law. (Title V, Section 12).

Has anyone played this game in the last 23 years? Played a match last night with my cousin, whom I played with 23 years ago for the first time.

I remember I had three original cds and read the game guide every night before going to bed when I was 10 years old. Great times.

When "Conquerors" expansion was released, I was thrilled.
I always chose Aztecs. Big time Jaguar warrior fan.
Even had the thing that they used to intimidate their enemies, the famous Death whistle and the Jaguar whistle.
Altough all whistles are up for sale if you ever had the chance to visit Teotihuacan, a 60 minute drive from Mexico City.


I remember I was fascinated by all the civilizations and their History and how most of them are only remembered now because of the things they left behind, buildings, texts, weapons, recipes, kitchen tools... and I believe the Kingdom of Talossa is a proper civilization, a kind of Babel Tower if you please.

In this thread we can talk about how to name our 57 townships.

As we know, our two cantons are divided by two and four counties each.
Each county is divided in between 8 to 14 townships.

I believe we can have a different approach to how we name EACH county (and its townships).

Some things I've thought were
a) A county with townships named after Liberty and Independance terminology/concepts.
This in order to pay hommage to Fiôvâ's origins.
Examples: Livertà. Republică. Independençù.    Liberty. Republic. Independence.

b) A county with townships named after Coffee terminology.
This because you know me.
Examples: Macchiato.  Affogato.  Espresso.   

c) A county with townships named after Rivers.
I consider this traditional.

d) A county with townships named after important people in Talossan History.
I consider this traditional and a way to pay respects, too.



We got to keep Fiôvâ nice and tidy. I believe this is a way to do it.
How do you feel about this?
Should we agree to have 6 themes for the naming or do you prefer to pick a county and name its townships yourselves?
Both options are fine by me.
