To question 1) the link provided by the specific individual pointed at a facebook account stating the name which was included in the application https://www.facebook.com/sean.g.ablez . I don't systematically check if the facebook name is a real one, which is only possible with phone directories or equivalent official databases. Social networks as Facebook,  X/Twitter, Instagram, .. and even LinkedIn do not guarantee that names are real.


To question 2) I received 51 applications by mail, out of which I introduced 33 prospective citizens (of which 3 which were created by mistake at the beginning of my minister as they did not create an account on Witt). Apart from these 3, I do not introduce prospective immigrants if they do not create an account, or if I cannot have access to a social network account stating similar name. I sometimes chase by mail for such sources, or for applicants to create an account on Witt. Sometimes I have to check the real name (for instance today I had to guess the city and state of a prospective citizen as only the street and number was provided, but I found the correct family name for this address on clustrmaps.com..)

For my understanding : In the current set-up we are at least sure to have the CpI acting as a council of regency if no conclusive vote happens (section 3). The proposed new system may lead to a state without even this council of regency (if no regent nominated by the King and no conclusive vote on heir presumptive and king replacement) ?

Þerxh and Carlüs, do you support my draft legislation as it stands, including all the suggestions that AD has made? Or do you prefer an earlier phase of suggestions? Or - possibly - is it just that you require AD to write the final draft?

In any case, there remains 3 days before this can go to the CRL so anyone can suggest further amendments, but if at least 3 TNC MCs won't back it we're wasting our time.

I just read Baron Alexandreu's words, and I agree that letting the King propose a successor would be the most coherent scenario to ensure the historical continuity on which our Nation is build upon.

Sorry for my late answer. I think that the Minister of Defense has responded to this Terpelaziun with a sense of humour that is typical to Army persons, and which may seem a bit rude to us civilians. I understand his answer actually means "well... nothing new really.".

As I wrote previously, I don't think it is a good idea to base our Provincial anthem on the national anthem of another country, and Belgium has no real logical link with Talossa or Cézembre. Would we want that many think about Belgium when hearing our Anthem ?
