Oh, yes. It was a very simple "process". I was the Minister of Finance in the government of the day, we needed to appoint a new Burgermeister, I volunteered, the Sensechal recommended me to the King (since the appointment procedure in that era was through the Seneschal).

It was not exactly a textbook model of careful vetting, but it worked out well enough.

We will need the Government to act too but it appears we have at least a temporary replacement on stamps and money for Istefan. Thank you Iason Taiwos for agreeing to help.

So does something else need to happen with this?  It doesn't seem like the Burgermeister can appoint deputies -- maybe a PD is in order to allow that, so Iason can be appointed one to assist?  And then there's the question of whether that's enough -- @Istefan Perþonest , do you think this will suffice to ease your burden, or would you still prefer we give you a break and let someone else be the Burgermeister?

Yours is the most important job in Talossa along with Secretary of State, and you have done it well for many years.

The Burgermeister must be the most trusted and consistent person in Talossa able to do the job, and I have full confidence in our country's ability to come together to find a new one, though Istefan will never truly be 'replaced'.

I'm sure I suffer from anxiety to a very small extent, but I throw good vibes, love, and white light out to anyone who truly does suffer from that, depression, or other mental health issues.

1) The ICRC donation for Ukraine has been made, not that I communicated about it.

2) I am rather backlogged on sending out purchased stamps and coins, sorry

3) Received party fees so far for this election are from the FreeDems, RCT, and Independent Monarchist.

4) My snail address for anybody who needs to send a check/cash for a party fee is is 645 Moondale Drive, El Paso, TX 79912

5) It would, in fact, be a relief to me to pass off the Burgermeister and related stamp/coin job to someone else. I'm having anxiety issues every time I deal with it (thus lack of communication and backlogs), and medication is just not working like it should. So, if you guys line someone up, I'll ship the stamps and coins, send the PayPal password along, and transfer the Ally account balances. (The relevant email addresses should be redirectable to the new person by the website management.)

This is not a positive request to be replaced. I'm willing to muddle along. But I'm definitely going to be muddling through this anxiety stuff, so I'm not remotely going to object to being relieved of the responsibility.

Is anyone able to put their name forward for Burgermeister? I would potentially be interested if nobody puts their hand up.
I do realize I am only a new citizen but I am finding this whole thing to be very fascinating.
Please let me know if I'm getting too big for my boots.

Jumping in with both feet is a Talossa tradition. I was Seneschal very early in my tenure. There is always work to do!
