Extraordinary Convention

As I've been asked by the leadership of the Free Democrats to chair the convention, I hereby establish this thread as the starting point.

I invite the current leadership to present an agenda for the convention.

We're gathered here today because our fellow citizen Eðo Grischün has requested a debate on the party's leadership and programme for the upcoming election. I would like to invite him to open the debate with his observations and proposals.

I would also like to foreshadow that I have my own proposals for a programme and leadership for the election; but I will hold back on those to see what Eðo wants to offer.

I would note that according to Article 5 of our Party's constitution, convention votes need to run for 3 days to be valid. Therefore I would like to ask the Convention chair to approve the following schedule:

September 1 - September 5: proposals and debate
September 6 - September 8: voting
