It's very hard! I need to catch 5 legendaries to achieve level 44 but even tho I have over 100, I cannot catch a lot of legendaries these days, people stopped playing and fighting them alone isn't very wise.
No.. Level 40 is enough. Setting targets you can reach is key for happiness !

I went to visit V. Conductour at his store (the Ohio Embassy), and saw that he had this board game in stock. I remembered Ian Anglatzara talking about this game awhile back. Decided to give Vitx some business, and purchased it. (Dude won't even give his best friend a discount!) Haven't played it yet, but it looks interesting. Will be attempting to play it with Vitx next week, and will report back on our opinions of it.

It's all fun, very easy to explain. My mother is suspiciously very good at it. I'm more of a move-miniatures around a board kinda guy but this is my family's favorite game!

A number of Talossans will be playing in a Diplomacy tournament on July 20-21 at the ARMADA Regatta https://armada-dip.com/2024/ still time for others to sign up if interested.

Sir Lüc

Not sure why I never poked my head in here!

I'm definitely a boardgame noob but my 4-5 people hometown friendgroup has gradually switched from LAN parties to boardgames when we get the chance to meet. I gifted Carcassonne to my bestie for his birthday this summer and he's absolutely hooked (and I am too, but I only get to play once per month or so sadly.) Just yesterday we managed to have @Erschéveþ da Schir join us remotely from Germany with the help of Discord and a couple of strategically placed webcams. Me and Ely also recently got to try Catan while in Dublin and it's nice, but no match for Carcassonne tbh.

Digital gaming wise, I would like to heartily recommend Pentiment to all fans of medieval murder mysteries and/or "The Name of The Rose". Definitely my favourite game among those I played in the last year or so, and quite high up my ranking of single player RPGs along with my beloved Disco Elysium - which by the way you should also play for its stunning writing and voice acting.

I will definitely need to check that out as I absolutely love "The Name of the Rose" and all things Umberto Eco.
