Celebration of Veteran's Day/Armistice Day

On this day around the world, the veterans of our national militaries are celebrated for their service, devotion to duty, and their sacrifice. Let us also remember and commemorate on this 11th day of the 11th month the freedoms we enjoy thanks to our veterans.

On behalf of King John, and on behalf of a grateful nation, we celebrate this day and look forward to the future of Talossa.

Please be happy that your countries have always existed, unlike Poland where it regained independence after 123 years of partitioning, 106 years ago.

A happy name day to myself and a happy Polish Independence Day to myself and Veteran's/Armistice Day to those who celebrate it.

To be fair, no country on Earth has "always existed" and there are many, many countries that had to fight hard to keep their existence. Let's try to remember today isn't about any one country. It is about our veterans who have given everything they had.

None did it as hard as Poland and none countries didn't exist for as long as Poland.

I am very well aware of that.

Yeah, your veterans (I very much apologise if this comes off as offensive or rude).

Does Poland not have veterans? Do they not also deserve to be celebrated? My proclamation was for ALL of us as Talossa is not just one country or people. We have Americans, New Zealanders, British, German, Canadian, Polish, Italian just to name those off the top of my head. Our diversity is one of our enduring strengths and veterans from every country, every side in conflict, should be celebrated for their sacrifices. Not just "my" veterans. All veterans.

It does have veterans but they have days like "National Day of the victorious Greater Polish Uprising".

That comes off (to me) as if you were annoyed.

I'll better not post here.

You should read up on Irish history (which was the point of Dame Miestra's "Irish stare"). Her point was that Poland isn't the only country that has had a difficult past.
