I've lost interest. Have you?

Does anyone else find themselves losing interest? I'm not talking about Talossa. I mean a loss of interest in general.

I don't want to worry people. I'm not in distress. I just find it difficult to be enthusiastic about things these days. I haven't been interested in movies or music lately. I thought it might just be overwhelming boredom. Thought I'd play a mobile game and couldn't find anything that interested me.

Maybe it's just winter. I do find myself more depressed in winter. I shouldn't say "depressed". It's like I have absolutely no motivation right now.

Is anybody else going through something similar? Or am I just going through a "funk"?

I do suffer a bit with depression and I definitely find it more difficult to "get over it" during cloudy spells in the weather (winter or summer)

Depression is something I deal with and have for years. It ebbs and flows.

I think it's winter that's got me down. Cold, unpredictable weather and the limited daylight has been shown to affect people mentally. I think things will get better as the days get longer and the weather improves.

It's called anhedonia. I suffered for a long time. Getting off SSRIs and onto lamotrigine helped a bit.
