This enquiry is for the Minister of Technology. I have respectfully enquired to the Seneschal on the official plans for the Government during the coming term without response. I am therefore asking each minister directly for their plans of action during the coming term. To the Minister of Technology, what priorities or specific action items does the Ministry plan to address during this Cosa term?

This enquiry is for the Minister of Technology. I have respectfully enquired to the Seneschal on the official plans for the Government during the coming term without response. I am therefore asking each minister directly for their plans of action during the coming term. To the Minister of Technology, what priorities or specific action items does the Ministry plan to address during this Cosa term?

Tuischach, the Seneschal referred me to the Throne Speech in her reply on behalf of all ministers. I found the following concerning the Technology Ministry:

The Ministry of Technology will work to ensure that something similar does not happen again by taking direct control of the "back end" of talossa.com, leaving decisions over content of the National Webspace to the STUFF Ministry. In addition, my Government will continue the project that we began in the last term of re-nationalizing our national websites, re-establishing them as Kingdom property paid for by Kingdom funds, as opposed to their current informal status as hosted privately by the Permanent Secretary of Backend Administration.

My supplemental enquiry is for the Technology Minister. Where are we on progress toward direct control of the back-end of our National Webspace? @Mic'haglh Autófil, O.Be

I thank the Member for this question; the Ministry is working on getting the Burgermeister of Inland Revenue access to the team on DigitalOcean. While we likely could get by on having everything registered under the Ministry's email address, having people use personal funds to pay, and then reimbursing them from the Treasury, it seems to me a much cleaner option for the future to simply set up direct payment now and cut out the middleman.

Unrelated to the Member's question, but if he will forgive me for using this thread to inform the Cosă of a similar piece of (crucial!) Ministry business that has been recently completed, then I would like to take the opportunity to notify the chamber and the nation at large that the talossa.com domain's registration has been successfully renewed for the coming year. It was set to expire before the end of the month.
