Rebirth of the Raßemblamaintsch per el Citizens Talossán (RCT)

**Florencia, August 8, 2025** — The citizens of Talossa are invited to witness a historic moment: the rebirth of the Raßemblamaintsch per el Citizens Talossán (RCT), also known in English as the Talossa Citizens' Rally. The party has been refounded by its original founder, Mximo Carbonèl, Senator from Florencia, with a clear mission — to restore the diversity and joy of life that once defined our nation.

The RCT's platform is built on five core commitments:

1. **Reduce bureaucracy** by eliminating overly technical laws and legislative votes that ordinary citizens cannot understand.
2. **Promote Talossan culture and language** as the beating heart of our national identity.
3. **Empower citizens** with the right to vote on the admission of new immigrants, ensuring meaningful participation before citizenship is granted.
4. **Strengthen the national budget** through an annual mandatory contribution from all citizens.
5. **Reform the Ziu** to 18 seats with only one chamber — 10 proportionally elected and 8 representing the provinces, one per province.

"The RCT is here to simplify governance, revive our traditions, and make sure every Talossan has a voice," said Mximo Carbonèl, Senator from Florencia. "We are committed to building a Talossa that is vibrant, united, and to work with every part of our great country."

A relic of Old Talossa makes its return.  I was in that party up to summer 2001 and had a good time with it.

As to the above agenda-item, "mandatory" alone should dissuade anyone but Max supporting the revived RCT.

Considering that one point on the agenda is the promotion of the Talossan language, I'd like to suggest Raßemblamaintsch dels Citaxhiéns Talossaes as a better translation for the name.

Well, if you are starting with the English translation of the party name (which most Talossans would be), sure, that's likely more how you'd go into Talossan. But since Mximo is a native speaker of French, I expect the "per el" instead of "dels" more correctly reflects his intent (historical French parties of the "Rally" name pattern include both a "Rassemblement du" and a "Rassemblement pour la").

The original translation, according to Ar Pats, was indeed Raßemblamáintsch dels Citaxhiêns Talossáes (albeit with the older orthography).

"per el" and "Talossan" are ungrammatical here because they're singular while "Citizens" (which isn't the Talossan word for citizen mind you) is plural.
