I got the game Katamari Damacy out of the library for my girls to play, and I have been also enjoying the soundtrack.  It's amazing.

I have been listening to some of Mariah Carey's music from twenty years ago. I also like Utada.

I recommend Rachmaninov's rendition of St. John Chrysostom's Divine Liturgy. My favourite part is the "Tebye poyem" (We sing to thee).

I have been slowly learning how to play the first two movements. I can sort of get through them ok now. (The third one Im not even gonna bother tbh)

There is a book called 1001 albums to listen to before you die. Someone made a site: https://1001albumsgenerator.com/ that generates an album every day to listen to and rate between 1 and 5 stars. For the past 3 years or so I have been slowly working my way through this. Currently on 465 albums rated.

(Unfortunately there are quite a lot of albums on the list that you don't really need to hear before you die at all. Apparently the author really likes c-tier britpop bands nobody outside of the UK has ever heard of and c-tier dated 60s psychedelic nonsense. Oh well)

My album for today was Simply Red - Picture Book. Would not recommend. It's bland, cheesy and it contains a disgustingly awful Talking Heads cover.

Three years?!  That's a huge commitment.  You should let the person who made the site know -- I bet they'll be impressed!

Heh, well I dont need to tell them, because the site keeps all sorts of statistics of the rating, but I doubt theyll be too impressed, cause there are already 692 people who finished the whole list. (Which is confusingly 1089 albums long - I think it covers different editions of the book.)

Also 465 divided by roughly 3 years (actually its more like 2,5 I think?) is clearly not actually one album a day because I frequently have to skip a day.
