Games night planning

Hi hello quick recap: after the Discord TCAT watchalong of May 27th we played games together (or "Activities", as Discord calls them) and had lots of fun chatting and hanging out.

The games will be free to play for a week still, so there's only this weekend to stage a repeat before I have to shell out for Nitro. Which I could do, but truth be told, I have been happily Linux-exclusive for a couple of months now and Discord barely cares about its Linux client, so why should I give them my money?

The games Discord offers include minigolf, Uno-clone, poker, chess, Scrabble-clone, and many others. There's no requirement we all play the same game either as multiple activities can happen in parallel in the same chat, though I assume it would be more fun if hopped between different games all together. We can also play something off-Discord like skribbl.io, which is similar to Pictionary without teams, or Geoguessr.

Anyway, who's up for playing some games, say, this Saturday starting anytime after 9PM CEST/3PM EST/2PM TST? Potentially even much later than that since there's Le Mans going on and I wouldn't mind having something to keep me awake during the night.

Seriously, the TCAT watch along was way too early for me. An afternoon of games and chatting sounds much better.

I'm always up for multiplayer non-live games.
Or maybe live games but that dont' require a whole hour to play.
I always enjoyed Warzone (Warlight) and enjoyed playing it last year with fellow talossans :).
I just realized Polytopia has multiplayer capabilities and there are live games and a mode with turns with time limit of 24 hours !


(I like Polytopia so much that I've purchased 2 premium civilizations. What I don't like about Polytopia is the exposure from the hilarious tweet from professional mörön Elon Musk)

I was only able to show up for a short time -- childcare is a demanding taskmaster -- but I still had enough time to get thumped in poker.
