Túischac'h, this enquiry is directed to the Finance Minister. @Sir Lüc

In reference to his reply from last month:

QuoteEstimat Túischac'h, further to the answer I gave last month, the preparation of the statement on income was delayed by my allocation of Talossan time and brainpower getting entirely diverted to the creation of the platform for the midterm Referendum. I still intend to deliver such a statement before my expected resignation from the Cabinet.

As for the second part of that answer, I have no progress to report on except to say, on a related note, I'm glad to reassure the Ziu I don't plan on seeking any reimbursment for hosting the referendum platform on my own server.

In follow-up to your reply:

a. I reviewed the government's cabinet appointments here and do not see a listed Deputy Finance Minister. I am therefore requesting the Minister update the Ziu on plans to ensure continuity within the ministry upon his likely appointment as SoS.

b. My apologies if I have overlooked the posted statement but, if it has not been posted, what updates are there on the statement on income from the Ministry?

Sir Lüc

Estimat Túischac'h, the Deputy Finance Minister is S:reu Ian Plätschisch, as announced in a separate thread here on Wittenberg. The appointment was made with the main purpose of serving as an US based signatory to the Treasury's accounts; I would assume he is likely to step up to be the next Finance Minister, but as the Leader of the Opposition probably knows, I am not in charge of appointing my successor. As for the expected income statement, the figure I was using as a ballpark estimate was about 80¤00 (120$), which I would have revised before making the statement based off any Q3 financial reporting that was made available to the Treasury for wider publication. I simply never got around to asking the Treasury for such a report.

Deputy Secretary of State / Distain Secretar d'Estat
Deputy Scribe of Abbavilla / Distain Grefieir d'Abbavillă

I thank the Minister for his reply and acknowledge awareness of who appoints his successor but assume the Finance Minister would know or play some part in recommending his successor upon assuming another position.

Túischac'h, I have a simple supplementary question in reference to this part of that reply:

When will this income statement be officially delivered?

Túischac'h, there are still a couple days left on this supplementary enquiry for the Finance Minister @Sir Lüc but I remind as a courtesy.

Sir Lüc

Estimat Túischac'h, I expect to be able to focus on Talossan matters more once a big IRL deadline with consequences on my future employment passes on the 21st. My intention would be to finish up and deliver the statement between then and Sir Txec's impending resignation from the Chancery, upon which I would in turn resign from the Cabinet.
