I recently purchased a couple of firearms, and jokingly asked a couple of Talossans if we should start a "Talossan Rifle Association". (Well, why not?) (The responses weren't positive.)  I'm not really a gun guy, but I bought a cheap 9mm pistol just to have fun with. (And for home defense. I doubt I'll ever need to use it (people would have to be desperate to think I had anything worth doing a home invasion robbery over), but you never know.) But I also bought this,

which I will gladly use in efforts to defend Talossa. (I can actually shoot this thing where I live without having the cops called on me, and boy, is it fun. A fully automatic BB gun?! I'm kind of glad they didn't have these things when I was a kid, our youthful BB gun wars could have really ended disastrously.)
Given the current situation going on, I may have to use these items against the fascists in Ohio first. (Believe me, I'd love to unload my BB gun on our local Congressman. Shoot both of his eyes out.)

It takes two C02 cartridges, and they run out in seconds when you fire on full-auto. (Growing up, I had the "Red Ryder" gun of "A Christmas Story" fame. Even after my dad bought me my first real rifle when I was 13 (a Remington 572), I'd still usually plink more with the BB gun. Well, ammo was cheaper, and you can't really fire a real rifle in your backyard, at least where I lived.) This fully automatic BB gun is like a childhood dream come true.
I've thought about American "gun culture", but it's something you don't notice if you've grown up in it. Growing up, I thought everyone had a gun cabinet in the house. It was as normal as having a tv. Luckily, my parents took pains to educate me early on not to mess around with guns until I'd been properly trained on using them. My Dad started me out on shooting when I was pretty young. Him buying me a rifle at 13 was like a rite of passage, he finally saw that I knew how to safely use guns, and bought me my own. Eventually I met people who didn't own guns, and who thought me getting my own rifle at 13 was irresponsible parenting. I dunno. Maybe it's a southern thing. Anyhow, I've never shot anybody (yet).

Hell I can remember kids in high school having gun racks in their cars with rifles or shotguns in them so they could go hunting after school (amazingly no one ever got shot or felt threatened)

Magnanimously, I have decided not to continue with this bill at this time.  I am not withdrawing it, since we want to make sure that the United States is aware of our great and terrible threat, but neither do I want it moved to the CRL.

WHEREAS the government of the State of Wisconsin in the United States of America has openly declared its intention to burn a substantial portion of the province of Maritiimi-Maxhestic, specifically Lakeshore Park,

The area in question did NOT constitute a significant portion of the province.  9.5 acres out of a 22 acre park, not even 1/10th of the province.  Under WHAT measure is this "significant?"  Also omitted was the minor but crucial detail that the area in question was UNINHABITED PUBLIC land, an artificial peninsula ISOLATED from the mainland.

WHEREAS this arson will be further accompanied by the forcible seizure of the same territory, violating Talossan sovereignty,

1. "Arson"?  It was an environmentally-decided "controlled burn" of (I repeat) UNINHABITED PUBLIC PARK SPACE.  Limited in scope, specific in target, and carefully controlled, with Milwaukee Fire Department mere minutes away if something somehow went wrong.  Hyperbolic spin like this serves only as clickbait and ragebait and damages ecological causes.

2. The space remains open, before and after the event, as PUBLIC PARK SPACE to Talossans and non-Talossans alike.  The only exclusion was during the event itself, a necessity for health and safety!  Flame = ouch!

WHEREAS at no point has the State of Wisconsin or the federal government of the United States engaged in any treaty which would permit such outrages, nor have they obtained the prior agreement of His Majesty's Government, and accordingly such conduct constitutes an act of aggression that must not be permitted,

While there is no specific paperwork codifying this, it is an unwritten and immutable fact that all public services within the Greater Talossan Area (and any other place where Talossans physically reside) are essentially subcontracted out by the Regipats out to the applicable local governments.  This includes the Wisconsin Department of Public Resources, the City & County Governments of Milwaukee, and extending all to way up to various US Federal Agencies.  So, yes, they DO have authority to act, even without specific directions from the Regipats.

WHEREAS under the current circumstances, there's a good chance that during any conflict the American Secretary of Defense will accidentally text us their plans, giving us a substantial advantage,

Not upset, per se.  One never knows how seriously the micronation thing gets taken by others.  More a case of "just clarifying".  Also articulating some concepts involving the line between micronation and real world.
