I decided when I first became a citizen that I would wait one year before applying for a coat of arms. I didn't want to put people out and then decide I didn't like it here. I have decided that I love Talossa and I want a coat of arms but I know nothing about creating one. So my questions are...what is the process of creating one and how long do you think the process will take?

The design process can be quite quick, depending on what the design is like. The thing that takes time is arms are awarded by the king on national days of honor, which happens every few months. The next honors day is April 20.

Hold your horses young one. Arms have to be formally requested and an armiger assigned upon acceptance. The dean or his regent does that.

If you desire a grant of arms, please follow the process as outlined in this thread: https://wittenberg.talossa.com/index.php?topic=1135.0

So  am I correct in thinking that tomorrow is the next possible day that my coat of arms could be approved by the King?

Yes, tomorrow is the next honors day, though I'm unsure if the grant has been given to the King for his assent. Does the Noir Raven Herald know if the King is going to grant honors tomorrow?

Baron Alexandreu Davinescu

His Majesty has indicated he will be happy to issue the honours tomorrow, and has already gotten the list of recipients.
