[Chancery] Call for MC's for the 57th Cosa

El Lex H.11. No person shall hold more seats in the Cosă than ten times the total number of seats in the Cosă divided by the number of ballots cast for the Cosa in the most recent General Election, rounded up to the next integer.

Based on the current size of the Cosa, the upper limit is 22 seats.

The TNC numbers have changed and a new MC has been added. And Caleb of the PdR resigned his seats. Have these been updated?

Um, a full-time job plus two University courses...

You have nothing to worry about Senator, I always double-check MC assignments before any Clark or voting occurs. The only thing I've not done as of this time is update the actual database, which is cumbersome and requires more than a few minute of my time.

...ok?  Good, I guess.  I didn't criticize you or the Government in my reply.  I was just sympathizing, since I once took MPF's databases course and I remember how complicated it was.

I've updated the roster of MC's for PdR and TNC (see the original post in this thread). I will update the database just prior to the Seneschal Election (I've updated it three times this morning and it still has problems, so I'm not doing it again right now).

The OrgLaw doesnt allow parties to just reassign seats though. Parties assign seats, but "MCs may not be removed from office except by a two-thirds vote by the Cosa and approval by the King. An MC vacates his seats if he fails to vote on two consecutive Clarks, or if he resigns from office or dies."

Nowhere in the OrgLaw is it mentioned that parties can remove their MCs.

Note: not supposed to be a comment on the ethical (or personal) matters being discussed here. Kinda want to stay out that.

It occurs to me that as my predecessor pointed out in this quote, the TNC may not reassign the seats of Dame Litz unless she has resigned her seats. As I've received no such notice of resignation, then the original allocation of seats, save the one removed from Baron Davinescu at his own request, must be honored.

If the Dame does (or has already) resigned, I will happily reallocate the seats upon request.
