I figured I should give some backstory for this nomination, because just going to this cold may confuse people. Karpe is a Norwegian rap duo, both with immigrant parents, one is Indian, while the other is half Egyptian and half Norwegian. Just before the pandemic they bought a huge building in a medium sized Norwegian town (they're both from Oslo) and built a hang-out with stage, studio, and the latter being particularly futuristic using (according to the lore they created) features brought in by time travel from the future by "Mother" (heard narrating in the video) and her android children (seen in the studio segment). They mix languages in their music, but in very different ways. Chirag, singing the first part of the song, mixes languages and slang into the same line. Magdi, the one on the donkey, keep languages strictly separate. Something that becomes a bit weird in real life in that he tries to speak arabic to his children, but they answer in norwegian. The "PAF.no" track is part of a project that focuses on their parents and their origins, where the two have taken on alter egos, "Omar" (a little bit shady fellow) and "Sheriff" (a Bollywood character, basically, which is why he sings like he does in the video). Part of "PAF.no" is based on a Tunisian folk song called "Sidi Mansour". Except for the two repeated lines from "Sidi Mansour" (Allah allah ya baba Wa salam aalaik ya baba), it's all - sort of - in Norwegian. I've added an attempt at a translation:

What lasts forever, yara?
Money and plastic plants
What will you bring with you, yara?
When the air goes out of your lungs (Ya-ya)
Money and plastic plants
What will you bring with you, yara?
When the air goes out of your lungs (Ya-ya)

Allah, Allah, oh father
Peace be upon you, oh father
Allah, Allah, oh father
Peace be upon you, oh father
I know that you believe, oh father
That I'll be big, oh father
Allah, Allah, oh father
Peace be upon you, oh father
Allah, Allah, oh father
Peace be upon you, oh father
I know that you believe, oh father
That I'll be big, oh father

And I got new banknotes and new banknotes
New banknotes and new banknotes
And I got new banknotes and new banknotes
And I got, mmm
New banknotes and new banknotes, and I got
New banknotes and new banknotes, and I got
New banknotes and new banknotes, and I got
But nobody looks like us on the money bills yet

Allah, Allah, oh father
Peace be upon you, oh father
Allah, Allah, oh father
Peace be upon you, oh father
I know that you believe, oh father
That I'll be big, oh father

(I got) and I got new banknotes and new banknotes
New banknotes and new banknotes
And I got new banknotes and new banknotes
And I got, mmm
New banknotes and new banknotes, and I got
New banknotes and new banknotes, and I got
New banknotes and new banknotes, and I got
But nobody looks like us on the money bills yet

Allah, Allah, oh father
Peace be upon you, oh father
Allah, Allah, oh father
Peace be upon you, oh father
I know that you believe, oh father
That I'll be big, oh father

Molly Tuttle - Standing On The Moon
A song about war that was written in the 80s, so the references are old, but unfortunately the topic is still relevant.
