As the current Premieir of Maricopa, it falls to me to open the nomination period for Premier.

The nomination phase will stay open for ONE WEEK. Voting will begin on February 10, 2022 and will remain open for one week.

I didn't extend the vote because I felt like this whole voting was descending into a bit of chaos. What does everyone think? Should we re-vote or accept the new votes after the deadline?

I haven't gone back to look, but if we have a winner before the deadline, then I say we take that result. Otherwise, it looks like we will have a tie regardless and so we will need to decide on a tie breaker of some kind.

Since there doesn't seem to be a precedent for this kind of thing, once we get it figured out, I think we should propose a law or rule so the way forward is clear in the future.
