Don't tell anyone, but the deadline really just exists to encourage people to plan their matches quickly, or to provide a way forward if it becomes clear a match just isn't gonna happen anytime soon or at all. If you play your match tomorrow I'm obviously not gonna kick you out of the tournament. That wouldn't really be helpful or fun for anyone. Good luck to both of you tomorrow!

Probably my mistake, but I tried to set up a game but couldn't figure it out 😂 I didn't get an invite either, so I assume my opponent is as experienced with lichess as I am. I need to leave for a few hours now anyway, so I think I have to be DQ'd.

If you can manage to play your game today or in the coming days there's no need for a DQ

Gjermund and Bentxami have indicated to me that they are withdrawing from the tournament.
That means the second round is now finished. We continue the next round with 8 players. I suggest because of this we reduce the number of rounds to 4, so two more rounds, and then maybe a round of tiebreakers if we want to.
