Quote from: Breneir Tzaracomprada on August 08, 2024, 03:59:27 PMThanks to the party leaders for their assignments. Now that all seats have been assigned we can officially convene the XXII (22nd) session of the Nimlet of Florencia.

Our first order of business is a vote of confidence in the current Governor, Breneir Tzaracomprada. This vote will run for a week from today ending on August 15th at 15:58 TST. Or until all votes have been received and a motion to close voting has been approved.

Voting is now open.

Current vote tally

Breneir Tzaracomprada- Per (4 votes)
Mximo Carbonel - No vote yet (1 vote)
Acafat del Val - No vote yet (1 vote)
Zilect Uómbat Firă- Aus (1 vote)

Voting closed some time ago. With 4 votes yes, 1 vote of abstention, and 2 failures to vote. I am reconfirmed as Governor of Florencia.

The floor is open for legislative proposals.
And the inevitable tumbleweeds.

I just realized the final sentence of 2024-03 doesn't specify the name of the holiday, and should be amended to read:

2024-03:
Nacho (Average) Holiday Resolution
Whereas Florencia was established as a province of Talossa on September 1st, 1996; and
Whereas Florencia is the Nacho-shaped Province;
Be it resolved that September 1st shall be a provincial holiday called Nacho Day beginning in the year 2025/XLVI.

Amended as requested. I plan to celebrate the day with Sweet Chili Heat Doritos.
