The Chancery has indicated the certification of the provincial election results.

Pursuant to Section 4(a) of the Florencian Constitution: "No later than ten days following the conclusion of each provincial election, the Governor of Florencia shall have determined and announced the total number of seats for the incoming Nimlet, which number shall be equal to the number of ballots returned in the election, less those returned indicating "Present", and augmented by one additional seat for each incumbent Senator for Florencia, and one additional seat for the Governor;" The total number of non-Present provincial ballots returned was 5.

Pursuant to Section 4(b) There is also one seat for the incumbent Senator and incumbent Governor.

I hereby appoint myself to the Governor seat and to the two seats won by Open Society and recognize that Mximo Carbonel as incumbent Senator is entitled to that seat as well.

The total number of seats in the Nimlet is therefore set at 7.

This leaves 3 seats unassigned by the party leaders.

Based on votes received:

The FreeDems are entitled to 1 seat
Dien: The Independent Monarchist is entitled to 1 seat
PdR is entitled to 1 seat

Section 5 (C) of the Florencian Constitution states that we must convene the Nimlet no greater than 30 calendar days after certification of the results by the Chancery. Therefore, the deadline for appointment of members would be August 8, 2024

As no one has claimed the seat for the Independent Monarchist, I plan to roll a die on Wednesday at 7PM TST to decide the seat. I am including all of the current seat holders, and anyone else that would like a seat in the Nimlet can PM me to be added to the list.

Having first flipped a coin to decide which die to roll, then rolled a die to determine which of three dice to roll, I rolled to determine the seat. I assigned the numbers on the sides based on the current seating arrangement:
1-Breneir Tzaracomprada
2,5-Mximo Carbonel
3,4-Acafat del Val
6-Reroll

The outcome was 1. The Independent Monarchist would like to assign its seat to Breneir Tzaracomprada, if they accept.

I'll upload the video at some point, and it'll make more sense.

Our first order of business is a vote of confidence in the current Governor, Breneir Tzaracomprada. This vote will run for a week from today ending on August 15th at 15:58 TST. Or until all votes have been received and a motion to close voting has been approved.

Proposal 1:
Nacho (Average) Holiday Resolution
Whereas Florencia was established as a province of Talossa on September 1st, 1996; and
Whereas Florencia is the Nacho-shaped Province;
Be it resolved that September 1st shall be a provincial holiday beginning in the year 2025/XLVI.


Proposal 2:
Statutory Law Codification Act
The Constable shall be responsible for maintaining, and making publicly available, a codified copy of the statutes and resolutions that have been adopted in accordance Article IV, Section 6 of the Constitution of Florencia (2020).


Proposal 3:
Citizen Initiative Act
The House of Shepherds shall debate and bring to a vote any bill or resolution presented to it by petition of not less than 3 citizens of Florencia.

Every bill, resolution, or Constitutional Amendment shall be subject to a vote by the House of Shepherds; subject to Article IV, Section 8 of the Constitution of Florencia (2020).
