In accordance with 60RZ13, this year's Budget, which states:

no funds shall be disbursed without a notice of disbursement having first been transmitted to the Ziu at least fourteen days prior to the disbursement, except that disbursements solely for the purpose of postage may be made with no less than 24 hours notice. Notices shall contain details of the purchase and a cost estimate for the purchase, or the total amount paid if seeking funds for reimbursement. Copies of receipts and/or invoices will be provided upon request to Members of the Ziu.

BE THE ZIU NOTIFIED that, on behalf of the Minister of Finance who is on leave, I have authorised the Burgermister of Internal Revenue to disburse 33¤20 (US$50.00) from the Ministry of Culture's budget, to purpose two $25 Amazon gift cards for the winners of the Talossan-language writing competition.

The minister reported to me by email that he is "going to have pretty limited email access for the next couple weeks." and since I would forward electronically to an email address, this would be redirected elsewhere as specified.  In turn I had been quite busy earlier in the month for the end of the academic semester and was not able to respond with alacrity to requests, but also it was discovered that this notice needed to be posted to the Ziu as specified.

The end of the calendar year often has traditional celebrations and travel, and with the alignment of the 2024-2025 calendar with typical vacation requests it is likely best to consider Monday 6 January as a typical start to business operations.  However, there may be things that do have to happen before the end of the calendar year and I will generally available to facilitate even though I too will be traveling 29 Dec to 6 Jan.

This is a great point. It is good for the public to know though when public officials are officially unavailable. Recent governments have done a pretty good job on this. Thank you for informing as well on your availability.
