Sir Lüc

As detailed in election rule A.3, literature should be sent to the Chancery's Gmail address.

Seeing that the Avant coalition message has gone out it looks like the election has officially started, @Sir Lüc . I wanted to let you know the Green Party has transmitted its message for mailing too.

Sir Lüc

The election has not started; mailers can be sent out at any time by registered parties, according to rule A.3, either on their own or through the Chancery (subject to the 1 mailer per party per week limit). This was also pointed out to me elsewhere but I can't find any reference in law to the mailers being supposedly limited to the balloting fortnight. The election will begin in the TST morning of today, as indicated in election rule E.1 - so in less than 12 hours.

Regardless, both Avant and Green have submitted their first piece of literature and both have been sent out.

The Avant registration fee was sent April 4th, could the Burgermeister please acknowledge receipt? @xpb

I acknowledge the fee being paid to stamps@talossa.com on 4 April for Avant

Note: all future payments should be sent to burgermeister@talossa.com via PayPal, Zelle, or Venmo as those systems are connected to the updated bank accounts of the Kingdom to which the King and Finance Minister are also signers.  The stamps PayPal account and associated bank will be depreciated and closed in the coming months.

Sir Lüc

The payment is noted and all four parties are now regularly registered.

Certification is not over yet, but as no issues have arisen until now, I foresee the EC being done soon; I would advise @Antaglha Xhenerös Somelieir , @þerxh Sant-Enogat and @Eðo Grischun to begin arranging for payment of the Senate winner's fee ($5) to the Burgermeister in order to be seated immediately upon the Senate assembling.

þerxh Sant-Enogat

Payment for Senator registration fees done - Dear Burgermeister @xpb can you confirm ? (ref 45F62138HL102223G)

No worries - just evolving the work flow.  Need to determine a PayPal alternative as an addition that works outside the US but can connect to a US account in a similar fashion.  Will keep PayPal but want to have a variety of options.

Sir Lüc

The election has been certified and the results are final.

@þerxh Sant-Enogat is the new Senator for Cézembre; @Eðo Grischun and @Antaglha Xhenerös Somelieir still need to pay the $5 winner's fee in order to be declared elected and take their seats.

Eðo Grischun

I'm unable to pay via PayPal just now it seems.  I think if the Burgermeister sends me a payment request then I can pay by debit card?

I have seen this and I plan to pay on 22nd April (the next time I'm able to pay), I just thought I would let you know why I am taking a while to make this payment

That is understandable and will not hamper your ability to vote on the First Clark, nor cause you to lose your seat.

The payment is shown as pending until 30th April, but I have submitted the fee through PayPal today
