With the election certified, it's my pleasure to open seat allocations for the 61st Cosă.

The seats to be allocated are:

Progressive Alliance: 63 seats ( @þerxh Sant-Enogat )
Green Party: 27 seats ( @Breneir Tzaracomprada )

As a reminder, the maximum number of seats that can be held by a single MC is 22. Offlist MCs can hold no more than 1/3 of a party's seats collectively, and each can hold at most as many seats as were awarded to a list candidate.

The Independent Conservative did not present a party list and as such, their 17 seats are automatically allocated to @Munditenens Tresplet.

You should probably ask @Bråneu Excelsio, UrN  as the third leader of the coalition, but let me ask this. If we switch our designation to URL, does that mean we can offer comments on referenda etc. as URL?

That's a good question I hadn't thought about. I would be inclined to say no, because technically Talossan law only recognises those parties registered on the ballot, so it would be a stretch to assume the language of B.2.2 applied to an unregistered party. (Yes, I do think that the legislation surrounding political parties could use some reworking.)

A vacancy in a party's Cosă seats having occurred as a result of the provisions of OrgLaw IV.5, I am obliged, pursuant to OrgLaw IV.3, to inform of the same @King Txec and the three joint party leaders @Miestră Schivă, UrN-GC @Bråneu Excelsio, UrN @Mic'haglh Autófil, O.Be , so that a replacement may be selected for Avant's 9 vacant seats.

The selection may be made at any time between now and the start of the Sixth and final Clark.

I additionally forgot there's also the matter of @Tric'hard Lenxheir 's resignation as an MC - Tric'hard, if you truly wish to resign, then @þerxh Sant-Enogat will similarly have to select a replacement.

I have already expressed my own personal wish as deputy leader that he would reconsider. I think he sells himself short way too frequently, and that we all deserve grace if we say something in a clumsy fashion every now and then.

I agree with you Baron. Grace should always try to be extended, even if the words or actions themselves are deemed unhelpful. We shouldn't cancel people just because they say something many disagree with.

For now I am remaining a citizen but I do wish to step aside from politics for awhile. I truly do not understand half of the bills I am asked to vote upon (which leads to a lot of abstaining) and I am trying to get myself away from attacks either from me directed at others or vice versa (even if they are sometimes warranted). I am not a dumb person but I am definitely not on an intellectual level with most of Talossa. So please replace me as a member of the Cosa. If you cannot find a replacement I will simply abstain on all future bills.

So please replace me as a member of the Cosa. If you cannot find a replacement I will simply abstain on all future bills.

I will interpret that as follows: if @þerxh Sant-Enogat gives me a replacement for Tric'hard's 21 seats before the deadline (end of September 30th TST) I will appoint that person and remove Tric'hard from the Cosă. Otherwise, Tric'hard will keep his seats for the final Clark.

I think this is reasonable, if not exceptionally watertight legally speaking, but I believe we can afford everyone a little grace here.
