One of the tricks to a successful season is checking your roster for injured players. The roster holds a space for players on injured reserve and you can place them there to keep them and replace them with active players from the waiver list. You can also update your active lineup on a weekly or daily basis (I choose daily which helps keep track of those pesky injuries).
