Mr. Speaker,

I hope your strategic retirement is going well you are missed around these parts.

This question is for the Avocat-Xheneral @M:sr Pôl dal Nordselvă, D.Div, M.Ed

Mr. A-X, a few months ago you mentioned conducting a review of statutory and Organic laws for opportunities at streamlining. What updates are there in your review?

Mr. Speaker,

I am disappointed to see that for the second or third time the A-X has missed a terpelaziun reply deadline. I would respectfully request a reply from the A-X @M:sr Pôl dal Nordselvă, D.Div, M.Ed and would also notify the Speaker @Munditenens Tresplet of this regrettable situation. :(

Mr. Speaker @Munditenens Tresplet

I am re-posting as this enquiry remains unanswered.

I also think we are at a point where we need to consider reforms to the Tuischach position as we can't have an official abandon their role without any way to remove them.

Tagging in here on behalf of the Avocat-Xheneral, who has been reminded about this question. As Seneschal, I have no knowledge of the statutory review project and I encourage the Avocat-Xheneral to give further details, if any.

Others have complained elsewhere about the member's "beep boop I am a robot repeating the same Terp every month" style of questioning. It is tedious and pointless, but perfectly legal and as Seneschal I try to make sure my Government keeps up with it. But what I will not tolerate at this point is this garbage:

Quotewe need to consider reforms to the Tuischach position as we can't have an official abandon their role without any way to remove them

How about we consider reforms to Talossa's basic political structure so it is no longer so easy for a sufficiently enthusiastic jackass to bully an elected official into silence.

Perhaps the best way to persuade the Túischac'h to return to active service would be for the Member to offer a full and frank apology, which I would be happy to convey.

Unfortunately, although there is a unanimous rejection by the Talossan political spectrum of sexual harassment, the URL is the only party which stands firm against regular harassment, which does far more to decrease activity and drive Talossans away than the other kind.

Mr. Speaker,

I am straining to see how objecting to a policy proposal is tantamount to bullying. I think it is what we call "normal politics" and I will continue to strenuously oppose efforts to limit the ability of the Opposition to hold the Government to account. I can see how that might be viewed as harassment. Dien's "strategic retirement" which now appears to be an abandonment of one's duties is a far bigger problem than the "harassment around every corner" scheme the Seneschal proposes.

I reiterate a need for us to reform the role of Túischac'h so that future officers will not be able to do this with apparent support from this Government.

Finally, where in the world are this Government's members of cabinet?

Mr. Speaker,

I would add the bolded part is a surprising revelation. What, if anything, is this Government's A-X actually doing? That is a more original and urgent question.

Good afternoon. I don't always see the messages or terps sent to me. I think the browser I use isn't refreshing properly. I apologize for my oversight and I will endeavor to follow closer. As you know most of us also have other responsibilities and those sometimes come first.

As for this question. I've explained on multiple occasions that I am reviewing legal precedents and laws to seek areas of reform. As of yet there has been little of note that I see needs to address or redress. If the citizens have specific issues to address please make them known and I can take a closer look.

My primary role is to advise the government on legal issues and that is something I endeavor to do. This back and forth is unnecessary and in practical terms an attempt for specific people to remain relevant.

As always I am ready to provide guidance to all citizens.

Breneir Tzaracomprada

Mr. Speaker,

I want to thank the Minister for finally giving an answer to my oft-repeated, as necessary, question. This question was generated from the Minister's own statement of priorities issued a few months ago. A couple times he sought to answer me by asking the question of me which was not an answer. So the question was reissued until an answer was received. The part in bold is the answer that has long eluded us:

I thank the Minister again for answering the question. I will follow up next month on matters related to his purview. And hope this can be the beginning of a more productive engagement between the Minister and the Opposition in pursuit of effective service to the nation.
