I messed up and agreed to rules that disqualified my original third pick (9/8)😂, so I've panicked and gone all out:

Perhaps we should maybe tweak the rules a bit. According to the aforementioned wikipedia article: "Time signatures that group nine beats into 3+3+3 are very common in music. This section only lists other groupings, such as 2+3+2+2."

Really I think the first case (3+3+3), so like '1-and-a-2-and-a-3-and-a' should not be allowed, but other cases should be. (Same for 12/8 and 6/8). I'm not sure which category your planned nomination falls under?

Note, me organising this was always inevitably gonna run into the issue that I'm really not qualified to speak on this. I'm not a musician (I play a bit of piano. Maybe I should learn Pyramid Song), so anyone with a better understanding of music theory is more than welcome to explain their reasons for why something should or should not be accepted.

Ok, but if the whole section is one bar and there's 16 16th in a bar, wouldn't it still sort of be in 4/4? Or are we saying it's in 16/16? (Again, I'm not really a musician :p)
