Under article III section 5, it appears this Nimlet will have 9 seats. 9 Florencian ballots were cast for parties this election, of which 7 were cast for parties that are currently extant, plus a seat for Senator @mximo and a seat for the Governor, who I guess is still me.

The distribution is as follows:
6 seats for the Progressive Alliance
1 seat for the Green Party

The leaders of those parties, @Baron Alexandreu Davinescu and @Breneir Tzaracomprada, are called to nominate residents to hold these seats.

Governor Marscheir, now that you've opened the Nimlet and all seats are assigned I rise to propose the following resolution:

Resolution 2026-01

Whereas, five years ago the House of Shepherds created the Order of Florencia to honor the contributions of exceptional Florencians, and

Whereas, in that time two Florencians (Art Verbotten and King Florence) have been inducted, and

Whereas, Duke Ian Lupul and Baron Hooligan are also fitting recipients of the Order of Florencia on account of their years of service to Florencia and the Kingdom.

Therefore, be it resolved by the House of Shepherds of the province of Florencia, that:

Duke Ian Lupul and Baron Hooligan are enrolled into the Order of Florencia with immediate effect.

It is my honor to submit Resolution 2020-03 for consideration by the House of Shepherds.

The Order of Florencia

Florencia joins our sister subdivisions of Cezembre and Benito in creating an award to honor citizens who have made exceptional contributions to the province.

The House of Shepherds resolves to create a new provincial honor to be known as the Order of Florencia.
•   Recipients of the honor may use the postnomial "O.Fl" and to go by the titles Sir, Dame, or the gender neutral Miscellus (Misc).
•   When awarded the new provincial honor recipients shall be selected in a cooperative fashion by the Constable and Governor. Recipients may also be privately submitted to the Constable and/or Governor by a petition representing an absolute majority of votes in the House of Shepherds.
•   Recipients shall be announced in a joint statement by the Constable and Governor, as a part of Florencia Day celebrations.

Voting closes at 9:00AM TST on October 6, 2020

I wish to temporarily withdraw my Resolution 2026-01. After reviewing the provincial constitution we are mandated to first establish that the current governor has the confidence of the House of Shepherds.

Here is the relevant language:

Section 9. Governor to Maintain Confidence of Shepherds.
The first order of business in the House of Shepherds, following the commencement of a new session, shall be by resolution the affirmation of their Confidence in the sitting Governor, though these Resolutions of Confidence may be introduced at other times.

@mximo In accordance with Section 9 due to the delayed performance of duties in this early term and complete absence for much of the previous term I am regrettably submitting a motion of no confidence with respect to the current governor.
