50th Anniversary

Colegas:

We are a few years away from our fiftieth anniversary as a country.  Very few nations of our size make it to such a point, and I think we should try to think ahead and plan something big for that event (26 Dec 2029).

I call for His Majesty to establish a Royal Commission on the subject, intended to span the time up until that point.  I believe His Grace should chair the commission himself, if he is so willing, since it's a perfect role for our term-spanning head of state.  I hope that other party leaders of good character are willing to join or delegate others to the commission.

Great idea. I'll give it some thought as to how best to structure a Royal Commission.
