Border Cleanup Act

WHEREAS a new survey of the national territory, made to produce a wall map of the Kingdom, has traced every boundary in Lexh.K.1 on the ground and found a big bundle of small issues, and

WHEREAS the law also still writes several Provinces and Cantons in the spelling from before the 2007 orthography reform, or in two or three different ways at once, and

WHEREAS none of this is meant to move any border from where the Kingdom has always understood it to be, only to make the law describe it correctly,

THEREFORE, the Ziu hereby amends El Lexhatx as follows:

1. In Lexh.K.1.6, "Cüféir" is amended to read "Cüfeir", and "E Wisconsin St" is amended to read "E Wisconsin Ave".

2. Lexh.K.1.7 is amended in its entirety to read:

1.7. Las Inaltans Maxhestici - boundaries are, clockwise from the north-west: E Wisconsin Ave, from the River to N Prospect Ave; thence along N Prospect Ave to E Mason St; thence along E Mason St to N Lincoln Memorial Drive; thence along N Lincoln Memorial Drive southward to the point where it diverges from Interstate 794 (the Lake Freeway); thence along Interstate 794 southward, across the Hoan Bridge, to the River; thence along the River back to E Wisconsin Ave.

3. In Lexh.K.1.13, "Vilátx Fréiric" is amended to read "Vilatx Freiric", and "E Wisconsin St" is amended to read "E Wisconsin Ave".

4. In Lexh.K.1.2 and Lexh.K.1.4, "Flúvia Montevúdio" is amended to read "Fluviă Montevudio".

5. In Lexh.K.1.8, "1.8. Florencia" is amended to read "1.8. Florenciă", and in Lexh.K.1.10 and Lexh.K.1.14, "Florenciâ" is amended to read "Florenciă".

6. In Lexh.K.1.9, "Sandadia" is amended to read "Sandadiă"; in Lexh.K.1.10, "Taglheiria" is amended to read "Taglheiriă"; in Lexh.K.1.11, "Zuerieiria" is amended to read "Zuerieiriă"; and in Lexh.K.1.12 and Lexh.K.1.14, "Ovestia" is amended to read "Ovestiă".

7. Lexh.K.1.15 is amended in its entirety to read:

1.15. Port Maxhestic - Boundaries are the Sea to the east; the River to the south; to the west, the eastern boundary of Las Inaltans Maxhestici, being N Lincoln Memorial Drive south from E Mason St to the point where it diverges from Interstate 794, and thence Interstate 794 across the Hoan Bridge to the River; and the south boundary of Maritiimi to the north.

8. In Lexh.K.1.16, "Dún Cestour" is amended to read "Dun Cestour", and the words "thence along E Water Tower Road in its entirety; thence directly across N Lincoln Memorial Drive to the unmarked road at the southern edge of the carpark; thence following that unmarked road to a point due east of the southern end of E Water Tower Road; thence due east to the Sea." are amended to read:

thence along E Water Tower Road in its entirety to its southern end; thence due east to the Sea, crossing N Lincoln Memorial Drive and following the access road at the southern edge of the Bradford Beach carpark.

9. In Lexh.K.1.17, "Vuode' " is amended to read "Vuode".

10. A new section, Lexh.K.1.18, is added, reading:

1.18. For the purposes of this Title and of the national boundaries, the River ends and the Sea begins at the mouth of the Milwaukee River channel, on a line drawn across the mouth of the channel joining the shores of the harbour on either side of it, between the Summerfest grounds and Jones Island.

11. Elsewhere in El Lexhatx:
(a) in Lexh.B.12.2, "Florencia" is amended to read "Florenciă" and "Fiova" is amended to read "Fiovă";
(b) in Lexh.E.7.8, "FLORENCIA PROVINCE" is amended to read "FLORENCIĂ PROVINCE" and "Florencia Province" is amended to read "Florenciă Province";
(c) in Lexh.E.7.11, "FIOVA PROVINCE" is amended to read "FIOVĂ PROVINCE" and "Fiova Province" is amended to read "Fiovă Province";
(d) in Lexh.F.12.6, "Florenciâ" is amended to read "Florenciă";
(e) in Lexh.F.12.20, "Fiôvâ" is amended to read "Fiovă";
(f) in Lexh.F.26.1, "Florenciâ Packers" is amended to read "Florenciă Packers".

12. Lexh.F.12.7 is amended to read:

12.7. The Maritiimi-Maxhestic Capitol Building -- The Milwaukee County War Memorial Center (on N Lincoln Memorial Drive)

13. Hereafter the names of the Provinces and Cantons shall be written in El Lexhatx in the current standard spelling of L'Översteir, and the Scribe of Abbavilla may correct any remaining outdated spelling of these names in the text of El Lexhatx as a clerical matter, leaving the bracketed historical references as they are.

14. Nothing in this Act moves any boundary of any Province. To the extent any part of it could be read as altering a provincial border, that part shall take effect only with the consent of the Province or Provinces in question, as Org.IX.1 requires.
