Feel free to use these, I prefer to move when creativity strikes. They're in order of the placement in the election thread, nothing more.

You may have not been around, but there was a time when every Talossan political party (or near to it) had an animal mascot. The RUMP had a tortoise, the Moderate Radicals a seahorse... the predecessor parties of the FreeDems were the ZRT with a goat and the Liberal Congress with an owl, so we merged them into a gryphon

Thank you! That's kind of you to say.  :D

I did know you had a logo, that's why I have the inverted star in the D. But I didn't want to make for some and not for others, didn't feel fair.

I will say I had no idea the animal-head silhouette was supposed to be a griffon, though. Would not have been in my first five guesses, even. :P

Now I need to think of a good animal for the PdR...

I don't know if the animal thing was a tradition before the RUMP, actually.  When I first immigrated, the CLP and the CRO were the only existing parties, with the RUMP just formed and the MN just gone, I think.  Of those, I think only the RUMP had a mascot, and maybe the CRO (a bat maybe? something drawn in a surrealist way that was extremely cool.)  The MN didn't have one unless you count a fascist black handprint, and the CLP seemed like they were too busy steamrolling a tyrant to choose a mascot.  It is a fun tradition, though.  I guess maybe it mostly comes from American politics -- I don't think it's that common in other countries.  A friend tells me, for example, that in Britain they don't have the same thing: instead, the UK Labour party has a rose, and the Tories are symbolized by the blood of the poor.  That might not be an unbiased accounting, though.

I love the D1EN one, by the way.

Methinks your source for that story may have a little bias. Just a smidge. ;D

And thank you! Having the interests I do, I cannot see "Dien" without seeing "Dienst" (the German word for "service"/"maintenance") and the old VW Dienst enamel signs at their licensed mechanics. Using that as a template with S:reu Tresplet's arms for the shade of blue and replacing the I with a 1 to symbolize his status as an independent felt almost too natural there.

On a similar note, something about the new sig image being used by the TNC strongly reminded me of the "Trapezoid N" logo used by NBC in the late 1970s, so, well...here we are. :P

The one is also fitting because I think (if I understand correctly) that by rejecting the mandatory party list requirement, Dien will be required to hold any seats he wins by himself!

Oh, that was good. My extraTalossan political self really enjoyed that one.
