Messages - Bråneu Excelsio

It has always given me great pleasure watching people do activities in which they invest time and care and whose purpose is to be shared with others. That's why when I see the dozens of pages in the TMT20 and TCAT threads I find that inspiring.

I feel like I haven't been able to contribute as much as I would like to Talossan culture, so I would like to focus some of my immediate future efforts on supporting new forms of group activities. If anyone considers supporting one, even just by participating, I would greatly appreciate it.

Some of the things that I've tought of are

- Talossan Book of Poetry 2023
I really liked El Pretz Poetry Contest last year, I thought that maybe if we could find a couple (or even taking those from last year into account) of poems from a bunch of participants we can do a nice little e-book.

- Doing a flyer to staple around the Faculty of Political Science (a few steps from my work) to make people curious and make them go to Talossa.com. Something like "Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Wanted" or something to make them dream instantly.

- Champions League / Provincial Representation
Now that Messi and Ronaldo are out of Europe I think the Champions League is a bit less exciting, although if Fiova can pick a team... you know the drill. Also, I don't know how much are you fellow talossans into "soccer". I always root for Italian teams but they have been doing very bad for a couple of years.

Does any of these ideas sound like something you would like to do too?

Do you have any ideas you could share?

Yes, interesting read, I invite the rest of the citizens with interest on making a Compromise to read it as well.

The discussion that happened in September 2022 was absoutely refreshing to read. It was very good.
I liked to see the proposals of Antaglha Xhenerös Somelieir, Ian Plätschisch, Miestră Schivă, UrN, Breneir Tzaracomprada on Baron Alexandreu Davinescu's bill. It's a bill that managed to improve with everyone's input. I really like the Conclave/Convention proposed by @Ian Plätschisch in another bill too. I feel like a general election to decide a King has a very presidential feeling, but a Conclave involved in the process is a different matter, although this is just personal opinion.

I noticed the moment the thread fractured was in March of this year, that's why I didn't put it in my summary.
Everything before that I think is a very good guide; concerns and proposals of every participant were taken into account.

Now for this summary of the thread, I put in red the red lines of everybody. I put the proposals in yellow and green for the things people are willing to concede to achieve a Compromise.

I think this is a very good guideline that I'd like us to pursue as a Nation .

Azul, fuliensen talossans!
I will say again that personal opinions are not official party policy.

When the time comes to discuss our personal opinions in a purposeful constructive environment, I will be there leading the way, I hope.
I have not answered these questions yet because I am precisely trying to lead an impartial movement that can allow the opinions of others to be heard.
Is that, being a candidate, counterintuitive? Pouçivalmint mas parç qe la voce da Talossa c'e la voce da toct I tzară. The voice of Talossa is the voice of everybody.

For today, I consider it important to emphasize that I'd rather not reduce the campaign to this issue, we at the TNC have great enthusiasm for creating and sharing fun things in addition to carrying out a clean, transparent and transcendental Cosa; we have the people, we have the energy and the will to lead a path to a stronger more united Talossa.

Quote from: Eiric S. Bornatfiglheu on September 17, 2023, 04:44:27 PMDid he offer you a cabinet post as well, Mximo?  Because in the spirit of full transparency, S:reu Excelcio reached out with an offer of a posting 2 weeks ago.  Foreign Affairs, to be precise.

No, I didn't offer a cabinet position to Mximo.

It saddens me that you think I offered you to be Ministry of Foreign Affairs because I wanted your vote.

As you may remember, my last line in my message was "I'm not asking you to vote for me or anything, it's just something I think would work in how I imagine an Excelsio Cabinet :)" because I value your perspective on foreign affairs and I still do.

I was informed a person was curious and inquired about the Kingdom. My wife whom is the person behind the counter told him a few things about how it is something that has her husband all excited from a few months back.
She said he was very interested and said he wants to ask me more stuff on the weekend, during my shift. I honestly believe there should be more Embassies so if you're reading this and have a way to make one happen outside of the GTA (and Mexico) please say so!

I can only think about how the mayor of my city started a big campaing about making the city accessible to everyone and proceeded to do a 1-kilometer bike lane in a city of 2.2 million cars :(

I am speechless. Thank you for your trust. I will work so that nothing mentioned here falls short of reality.
Since I arrived in the kingdom in July 2022, I feel like I arrived at a family reunion. A family that, like everyone else, sometimes doesn't get along but without a doubt, is capable of reconsidering themselves as what they are, people united through a special bond that is difficult to find anywhere else. Once again, thank you for your kind words, Mximo.

Quote from: Miestră Schivă, UrN on September 10, 2023, 03:41:17 AMExcellent! Who will the TNC spokesperson be? (Because that will partly determine who the FreeDems spokesperson will be.) We can settle details via PM if you like.
I will! I'll message you soon.

Quote from: Miestră Schivă, UrN on September 10, 2023, 04:05:22 PMSo am I to take it that the TNC's definition of "monarchy reform" refers only to sorting out the succession - that nothing else is on the table, as far as you fellows are concerned?
I believe that we can make meaningful progress by taking things step by step. By focusing on this essential issue now, we can establish a foundation for future bipartisan agreements.
We can address other matters, sure, but let's start with succession reform.

Quote from: Miestră Schivă, UrN on September 06, 2023, 05:26:55 PMThis is what I drive. It's very big, it's very bad, it seats 2 kids and a full load of groceries, we name it The Battleship. (I also have a smaller, cheap and nasty e-bike to get around by myself.)

I watched the GSD video in that site and I was more and more amazed for every perk and benefit it has designed into it.
What a great ride, I cannot imagine how it would drive with all those capabilities. I was going to compare it to a luxury car but it's more of a Battleship, you're absolutely right haha

Quote from: Iason Taiwos on September 06, 2023, 04:14:04 PMVitxalmour Conductour and I got the crazy idea to bike a local trail (The Greenway Trail in Lisbon, Ohio.) Neither of us had ridden bikes in years, but we thought it would be a fun thing to do. The trail (at the time) was like 27 miles, round trip.
27 miles? Haha I'd need at least a month in advance to prepare for that, you guys are absolutely bananas it's great!!
I can only hope for the day I'd watch that video of you guys biking in the wild.
