So, after the long calm, shall we start a CIV 6 tournament?
Who's in?

Looks like some progress is being made in the Scurzniescu - Plätschisch game. I'm planning to write an analysis once it's finished.

Fwiw, I'm hoping to organise more Talossan chess in the future. If anyone else is interested in playing a game or participating in a future tournament let me know.

I'm also hoping to organise games with faster time controls. The logistics of that might be somewhat difficult as it would require people in different timezones to be online at the same moment, but it surely should be possible if anyone is interested.
I'm in

I'm so inspired of that launch and want to ask your opinion. What do you think about it guys? Is it new era of

WHEREAS Bitour Scurzniesc has completed all the legal requirements for admission to the Kingdom of Talossa, and has satisfied the nation and us of his interest in Talossan citizenship (the Best Thing Money Can't Buy), of his intention and desire to participate in our national life, and of his loyalty to the Crown, we are pleased and honoured hereby to admit Bitour Scurzniesc to the exalted status of the 545th NATURALISED CITIZEN OF THE KINGDOM OF TALOSSA, and of the province of Atatürk , with all the rights, privileges, and duties thereunto appertaining.

Done by my hand in the name of King John and under his Royal Seal this 29th day of May in the year of the common era 2020, in the 13th year of the reign of our gracious sovereign King John, and of the independence of Talossa the 41st.

Glüc da Dhi
Secretary of State
I'm so grateful to be a part of you all, guys!
Thank you all for the support and friendliness!

You're actually eligible to be petitioned now anyway.
Finally, I've changed that. Looking forward to a full citizenship

I've changed your profile name to "Nick K."

Don't worry about your full name appearing in the title or text of this particular thread.  The immigration board is only visible to logged in and registered forum members and not to the public and doesn't get picked up by search engines.

If online privacy is a concern, I recommend that you head on over to the Talossan language sub-board and enquire about adopting a Talossan translation for your name.
Am I able to change my name to Talossan one or do I need to wait until I become a citizen?
Marcel Eðo Pairescu Tafial helped me to find a right translation

As it happened, Nick and I were online at the same time, so we finished our game. It can be found here: https://lichess.org/7OC4KSC4wNeJ

Azul! What esports does you play?
Azul! I play csgo at very well level, I even played at local state tournaments. It was my main purpose some years, but now it's in the past. Also I play dota 2, osu!, Sid Meier's civilization 5/6 and Valorant. And what games do you prefer?
I played Civ 5 a lot a few years ago but not so much anymore. I tried getting into EU4 recently but I wasn't willing to put in the hundreds of hours it would take to learn it.

I've played Rocket League a few times but I'm terrible at it.
We can throw a mini tournament, CIV is one of the best competitive games and it doesn't require fast internet/close proximity of players. Or at least we can try to play one game with Talossa's CIVers xd

Ahoj! I'm glad you come here. Czech Republic is a great country!
I am going to go to the language courses in September in Prague, but in this situation, the probabilities are reduced.
How is the state of the Czech Republic? Do you plan to open embassies and borders? And most importantly, how is your health? :)

The Ministry of Culture heartily 100% approves of this venture. Let us know if you need funding for it.
Thank you a lot :)
The plan is this:
1. Make a group in Steam
2. Make a server/voice chat in Discord
3. Find people who want to join that (The hardest part xd)
4. Throw the first e-sport competition of Talossa! (Whatever a game)
I will be grateful if you can advertise this to Talossa's gamers

Hey!
It's really important in 2020 to look at new horizons. e-Sport is a very fast-paced direction and Talossa still doesn't have a team in any e-sport game. So, would you like to establish the first micronation e-sport team in the world?
I would prefer to make a CS:GO team near EU, but we can make few teams at the same time to play different games.
What do you think?

If you are interested just message me or give me your mail/reddit/steam!

P.S. I'm really sorry for my English, I'm not a native speaker!
P.S.S. The main idea of this is to play once a week/month in your favorite games with Talossa friends!
One of the only times I played fort nite, I made it to the top 20 just by immediately deploying my parachute.

Other than that I'm pretty terrible at them
Azur! I have never played fortnite, only PUBG. But if you want to make a fortnite team, I will learn how to play that! :)
Really, it's not important to have a great skill, we are not going to win major championships. You just need to want to play any game. So, would you like to join me? xd
