I'm rooting for Japan since I learned about their 100 Year Vision.
Mexico always makes it through the group stage but never past the 4th game.
Let's go Japaaaan.
They were training in my city the last few days!

I have a two week vacation, and I'm mainly a stay-at-home kind of person. I've watched some of the classics I never got to watch so I'm trying to catch up with the "great movies" of history.

I've watched "Vertigo" (1958) by Hitchcock, "Cleo de 5 a 7" (1962) by Agnes Varda, "8 1/2" (1963) from Federico Fellini and "12 Angry Men", (1957). In the meantime I also watched the Wedding Singer with Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore, he.

I was thinking that there wasn't a Maricopan Poker Tournament last year, maybe we can have one this 2026 if anyone's interested?

Quote from: Baron Alexandreu Davinescu on March 04, 2026, 08:59:08 PMYour hobbies are pretty interesting -- we have one of the world's all-time coffee enthusiasts in @Bråneu Excelsio, UrN , and I play a lot of D&D (which isn't Magic, but it's adjacent)...

I have been summoned.

I'm at this very moment drinking this coffe, a cousin went to San Antonio TX and kindly brought it to Monterrey, Mexico. How much coffee do you usually drink in a week? It's always fun to be excited for making a new great cup.

Quote from: IamBosch on March 05, 2026, 08:09:57 AMI love playing healers so my main choices would be Cleric, Paladin, or Monk.

I've had a group of friends playing for 8 years, 5th Edition, and all I could think about 8 years ago was Better Call Saul and Breaking Bad so I built a Trickstery Cleric that was at partially inspired by Saul Goodman, lol. It evolved with the years.
Clerics and Monks are great fun from what I've seen.

Azul, Alex! Cómo andamos? We are three mexican-talossans in Talossa today. You can be the fourth one!

It's a great place to be, lots of things to do, lots of people to meet :)
It's all good fun.

A potential hermit wouldn't bother to choose between Boca and River, or do you prefer one? Maybe Rosario like the Pope!

I play a lot so Windows is the best option. Just never upgrade to Windows 11 ever, if you can.
Also, MacOS is pretty nice, we use it at work for video and photography stuff.

A good chunk of my friends use Linux but every time they open it they say "it's pretty cool and easy, you only have to (bunch of terminology I'm not used to listening)" so I never quite got it.

I went to a bilingual highschool and they taught us latin there but didn't care for it at the time. Later I only studied latin enough to understand Monty Python's Life of Brian's jokes.

I did around 75% of the italian course in Duolingo and was able to translate (with the help of Adobe Premiere AI capabilities) a full italian documentary from a guy who came to my school and his translator said it was very good so my ego was through the roof that day.
Did a whole year studying french but not listening to enough movies and music in French made me forget a lot of it. Also often mistake it for italian.

English is taught at my city public and private schools since age 3 so it's kind of common, being so close to USA.

Great name for a great cat.
May he chase little strings and take naps with the belly up forever.

WHEREAS it has been more than a fortnight since @Nicolás Masquiarán-Díaz first posted on Wittenberg, following his introduction to the citizens of the Kingdom by officers of the Immigration Ministry, and

WHEREAS he has, in that time, demonstrated an active, genuine, and continuing interest in Talossan life, language and culture, and

WHEREAS he desires citizenship in the Kingdom of Talossa, and

WHEREAS by all indications it appears that he would be a loyal and dedicated citizen, and a credit to this nation if he obtains the grant of citizenship he requests,

THEREFORE I, Bråneu Excelsio, a citizen of good standing of the province of Fiovă and of the Kingdom of Talossa, do hereby petition the Secretary of State @Sir Lüc to issue a grant of citizenship to Prospective Citizen Nicolás Masquiarán-Díaz, as specified by law.

I work in a Uni tv/radio station as well, there's a couple of people trying to get a show like yours, but your enthusiasm is fascinating. I'd be very glad to have you as a fellow Talossan as well (:

I was a goalkeeper in Junior High and got very fond memories of it. Own goals gave me the worst feelings lol.
I enjoy being a last touch guy now, not really running but trying to be in the best spot to have a clear shot.

Do you follow any UEFA leagues?

I thank the Minister for his question.

We have now a Discord group made up of the Captain of the Zouaves, the Deputy Minister of Defence, the Admiral of the Royal Navy and myself. We are taking notes of the achievements we're going to award at the end of the Cosa and we're coming up with new ideas to revitalize the Ministry.

I acknowlede there's room to improve and we're working on that.

I recently rewatched Return of the Living Dead and I absolutely love the first line of the movie:
