I mean English is also an official language in Talossa (and the more common language).

My political party and I certainly agree with the first bit; but there are a lot of people here who will say that as monolingual Americans they just find it impossible to learn to speak any other language, let alone Talossan. They just can't get their heads around the idea that there are different grammar rules.

True, but I don't like when cultures are lost to globalism (look at what America did to the Natives...). I think at least learning to say a few basic phrases would be considerate of our land's history and culture.

We definitely encourage everyone to learn some phrases, at least.  I'd love to make a few reforms to also bring our language into daily life a little more.

Honestly I wanted to become a part of Talossa because it seemed fun. There's something kind of old school (keep in mind I'm a 2000s baby) about joining a forum like this, it reminds me of my older cousins who were using different website forums in 2005. I also think it's such a cool way to see a culture develop in real time and meet people from all over.

I want to join Talossa so I can be part of a group. The whole world of micronations is very interesting to me, and Talossa seems to be the best. I hope to be welcomed when I become a citizen.

Basically why I'm making bilingual road signs.
