A science fiction geek?! What are some of your favorite sci-fi items currently? Also, you are welcome to join our Science Fiction, Fantasy, and Whisky Society.

My activities have been a bit limited lately, mostly following the books of authors I admire the most:  The Honor Harrington series by David Weber.  I'm technically a member of the Royal Manticoran Navy fan group, but haven't had time for activity.  The other major fan group I'm associated with is C.J. Cherryh's fan base (I've posted on her blog Wave Without A Shore and been to her house in Spokane)

I would be interested in that; I live in West Allis and commute to Pewaukee for my 8-4:30 day job.  I can introduce you fine folks to Old Growther classics such as Oakland Gyros, or we can hit personal favorites like Portillo's in Waukesha, or Doctor Dawg in Glenadle (Port Washington & Green Tree).  Or any Starbucks you care to name.  I'm open to suggestions.

Like, the OLDEST Growther. Like, he was there at the Declaration of Independence.

Even if Ben did, in a fit of pique (which we all know he was prone to) literally cut my name off of the Declaration of Independence.  The Cone War ran hot for a few moments.
