Why I am Interested in Becoming a Talossan:  Paraphrasing The Witcher, "Do not cite the OrgLaw to me, wretch; I was there when it was written."  Yes, I'm THAT Gary Cone, cosigner of the Declaration of Independence on 25 Dec 1979.  Yes, I cleaved to KRI's side when the Republic was founded, and followed KRI into exile after his final abdication (before John's election).  I'll be civil, honestly, I want to see what you've done with the place.

More About Myself:  Techie.  Most recent job (ended some months ago) was servicing ATM's.  At my age finding a new job isn't easy, "gig work" keeps the roof over my head & the lights on.  I'm a science fiction geek, been to conventions, even.  A former choir nerd, my current music taste revolves around KPOP, although my main admiration is for groups from previous decades more than current.  A recurring theme, that.

Truly historical stuff! Welcome back, @Xheralt_DelEncradier - and for those of you not up on your Talossan history, please see his TalossaWiki page. This guy was around almost literally on Day 1.

Here are the obvious questions:
- is it a coincidence that you decided to come back after the abdication of the Duke of Lupul, the former King John?
- Did you know that Ben Madison himself tried to come back in 2019; but gave up halfway through after he got static?
- Any special reason you're changing your Talossan name?

Yes it is a coincidence; I was not aware King John was exiting until I was pretty much starting the process here.

As an Old Growther (does anybody even use that term any more?) I am almost too Talossan to even have a Talossan name. By the dictionary, what should be my official surname ("Conâ") is, well, a little too close to my mundane name for comfort (even if everyone here knows it, I do want to keep at least a minimal veil with respect to guests).  Also a LOT of my online identity is "Xheralt", even outside of Talossa-that-was.  Easy traceability in this online age make me nervous.

Del'Encradier is more of a nickname, and has a bit more cachet than a geometric solid, LOL.  It is also an unmistakable statement of identity, hence why I chose it.

FAQ #2 No I didn't know Ben had tried, but given that the realpolitik of opposition to him, personally and politically, existing in this kingdom's base, I'm mot surprised it didn't work.  Heck, *I* may turn out to be too much of a lightning rod.  Won't know until I try.

The thing about Ben was that I would have personally loved to have him back... if he'd changed his ways from what made him insufferable. What clinched it for me is that he would never admit that he had told lies about me, personally, for political gain.

Given there's currently no one on the active citizen list who qualifies as an "Old Growther", it's hard to imagine when it would be used, except in historical discussion.

I remember the late and very much missed "Art Verbotten" aka John E. told us that his reaction to the foundation of Talossa was along the lines of "that's nice, Ben. Did you fall off the psychiatrist's couch and hit your head again?"
As someone who (according to the history) was actually involved with Talossa in advance of the Declaration of Independence, can you remember what your initial reactions to the idea were?

WHEREAS he has, in that time, demonstrated an active, genuine, and continuing interest in helping the Kingdom of Talossa with his creativity and curiosity, and

WHEREAS he desires citizenship in the Kingdom of Talossa, and

WHEREAS by all indications it appears that he would be a loyal and dedicated citizen, and a credit to this nation if he obtains the grant of citizenship he requests, especially given his historial ties to our kingdom, and

WHEREAS he will certainly spice up and enrich our Talossan culture,
