Truthfully, you've done already what can be done, i.e., starting a thread on Witt and seeing who responds.

However, I am not aware of a pre-existing animatronics-focused group in Talossa.

Perhaps you could start an association and solicit others to join you!  8)

I don't have ... well any experience with them, but they're machines and I'm a mechanical engineer, so I'm automatically at least a little interested by default. ;D

The school I teach at has two animatronic robots we use. The same company that makes all those animatronics at Disneyland, Garner Holt, is located a couple cities over from us and we purchased these from them. The students have done some quite amazing shows using SPARK-E, and now that we have two of them, an even larger group of students is working on programming the robot and producing animatronic shows. It's great fun.

what interests me is sort of everything about them. but mostly the way they move i learned about animatronics from the Rock-afire explosion
