Sir Lüc

Tough choices. I don't think either group is stacked but I still struggled to rank songs.

GROUP 3
3. Lacrimosa (Requiem)
2. La Fiesta Mexicana - This gets bonus points because it's an original composition for wind orchestra, which is usually barely acknowledged as being classical music.
1. 3rd Piano Concerto, 1st movement

Re. Canon in D, I feel like I'm biased against it because of the specific version that was nominated. Of course, we are voting on author and title, not the performer. Regardless, a fun piece. Fur Elise is also a classic that I simply don't have enough points left to give to.

GROUP 4
3. Concerto for Guitar & Violin in A Major: I. Allegro
2. A Little Night Music Serenade No. 13 in G Major
1. Sobre las olas - bonus points to mexican Strauss :p

In the case of Eurovision, it may be the case that all stage performances are geoblocked for Americans. If that is the case and you find a way around it, like an alternative video site that does have the stage performance please let us know. Of course just looking up the official video of a song on youtube is fine, but the real Eurovision experience comes from the stage performances rather than the official video.

People who didn't get around to nominating are also very much encouraged to participate during the voting rounds.

Strongest group of the five IMO

3 - Moonlight Sonata
2 - Mars, the Bringer of War
1 - Symphony No.9

GROUP 1

The curious thing about this category is that I had never actually heard of any of my own nominations (except "Euphoria") until I went through Eurovision playlists on Spotify looking for songs I liked. I found a lot of good ones, although "Maps" is by far my favorite.

3 - Maps - I took Glüc's advice and found a video of the live Eurovision performance, which I unfortunately liked significantly less than the official video.

2 - Grab the Moment
1 - Occidentali's Karma
