This seems a huge fun ! even if - for now - I don't fully understand everything... Is there a possibility to participate for the team « Las vrüscht cartidās da Cézembre » / the Cézembre sausage pancakes, sponsored by L'Óifisch Rexhital del Tourismeu dal Insulā da Cézembre ? Of course historical teams are priority 1 if limited to 12 teams

We do have CZM Canards da Cézembre (Cézembre Canards)
And looking into mythology of the area at https://en-academic.com/dic.nsf/enwiki/473853 it notes:
Les Lavandières
From Celtic mythology, Les Lavandières, also known as the cannard noz in Brittany, the Bean Nighe (in Scottish mythology), or the Midnight Washerwomen in English, are three old washerwomen. The three old women go to the water's edge at midnight to wash shrouds for those about to die according to the myth and folklore of Brittany; or to wash the bloodstained clothing of those who are about to die according to British folklore. The story of three old women may be due to the old Celtic tradition of the triple goddess of death and slaughter.

The washerwomen are small, dressed in green and have webbed feet. Their webbed feet may be the reason they are also sometimes called the cannard noz (meaning "night ducks") in Breton folklore.

As AD said,reason doesn't have any place here. Surely then, a team of cyclists would be best placed to win a football competition. Also trying really hard is the best strategy when dealing with pure RNG. :)

Confirmed! Something tells me cyclists might be better at this than one might think; if nothing else their cardio is insane...

Registration for the 2023 season of l'Aßociù da Futbol Talossan is now closed!

This season sees the introduction of the AFT Tornamaintsch dal Qualificaziun -- this round-robin tournament will consist of non-provincial teams competing for the open spots in the AFT's regular season, of which there are three (Nevitsch da Péngöpäts qualifies automatically by virtue of winning last year's championship). The following teams are looking for a chance to join the Big Leagues:

We welcome Touristans de Sant-Enogat (Sant-Enogat's Tourists) to also compete at the Canard Colosseum!  Similar to the way the New York Giants and New York Jets use the New Jersey Meadowlands, only in this case take care to schedule matches at low tide.
