Duke John

I join with all of you in mourning the loss of our friend Ian Tamoran.  I'll never forget the evening I took the train out to Woking to meet him for dinner at a very nice French restaurant -- good food and *great* conversation well into the night.  His was a unique voice in Talossa, combining elegance, quirkiness (no, Ian, light does not have mass), intelligence, and wit.  I have been, and am, proud to call him friend, and countryman.  We'll miss him, until the Day dawns and the shadows flee away.

John Regeu

owenedwards

He was a kind, friendly, intelligent man, whom I am pleased to have known, and await knowing better hereafter.

"Oh, forever may
He lie lightly, at last, on the last, crossed
Hill, under the grass, in love, and there grow

Young among the long flocks, and never lie lost
Or still all the numberless days of his death"

Is his birth date known? I want to make a video commemorating him, though I never knew him closely. I just want to do it out of respect.

Thanks, helps a lot.

Barclamïu da Miéletz

It has to be the most beautiful quote I have ever seen.

I'm sorry I have been away from Wittenberg so much that I completely have missed this very sad piece of news. He might have been the best one of us all.
